    “How has technology affected the types of relationships people have?

    Has this been a positive or


    negative development?”

    All the world can observe that technology has triggered many
    changes in communication and influence relationships in several ways.
    Business, educational and social relationships have been changing
    due to technology. This essay proposes that there are both positive
    and negative effects of this.
    First of all, technology has made it possible and achievable for
    business owners to communicate across the world. Where
    businessmen can open and close new job opportunities just with one
    call away by using meeting platforms such as Zoom, Hangouts, or
    Skype. In the same way, social platforms such as Facebook,
    Instagram, and WhatsApp have also revolutionized relationships, be it
    making new online friendships, find people who share common
    interests, or staying in touch with loved ones. Alongside this, online
    educational programs are available to study from home or anywhere
    and still have excellent communication between students and teachers.
    However, despite these technological advances, the quality of
    interaction has significantly declined. This means that some people
    may have less face to face contact or detached from what is going on
    around them. In addition to this, some people who struggle with
    communication skills might prefer to make relationships online rather
    than exposing themselves to their peers in real life. Furthermore, it is
    harder to focus on your work or studies without distractions and it could
    be a challenge to push yourself. It has also made it difficult to maintain
    a balance between personal and professional life.
    In conclusion, technology has certainly recast communication between
    people. It has brought some positive development in the ways people
    interact with each other. However, there are also some negative
    impacts of technology on the types of relationships people make.
