On 22 November 2019, an Order was issued by this Court ordering the
bonding company who posted the bail bond of the accused to bring the body of the accused, and to explain why judgment against the bond should not be taken within thirty (30) days from receipt of the Order. To date, no action was taken.
Since the thirty (30) day period to produce the body of the accused by the bonding company had lapsed without the production of the accused before the Court, the surety bond is hereby ordered forfeited in favor of the State.
Furthermore, the Officers of the Law are ordered to explain within ten (10) days from receipt of this Order why no return was made in the warrant that was issued.
After the lapse of the ten(10) day period, with or without the explanation of the officers of the law, the Court shall act accordingly.
