About CIRIA

CIRIA is the construction industry research and information association.

Operating across market sectors and disciplines we deliver a programme of business
improvement services and research activities for our members and those engaged with
the delivery and operation of the built environment. CIRIA is an independent member
based, not-for-profit association.

For 50 years CIRIA has managed collaborative research and produced information
aimed at providing best practice to industry problems and has a reputation for
publishing practical, high-quality information.

Publications

The majority of our research projects and activities culminate in the publishing of
guidance documents, many of which have been adopted as the standard for excellence
in their respective areas. CIRIA Members can also access these guides on-line, via
the knowledgebase.
