(verb)”

Examples:
I used to eat a lot of sandwiches as a kid.
When I lived in Japan I used to eat a lot of fish, rice and soup.
She used to eat very little when she was a model.
My parents used to live in New York before living here.

Please note
To talk about things you didn‘t do before but
now you do, you can use “Didn‘t Use To
(verb)”
Examples:

I didn‘t use to eat much meat but now I do quite often.


She didn‘t use to eat so much but now she‘s divorced
and eats a lot.
My cat didn‘t use to be like this. He used to be nice!

It‘s so hard to change our eating habits because some food is just so

create complications. When we get older we tend to prefer food that is

That‘s a good habit to change to. But of course, for special occasions like

Ex. I didn‘t used to eat meat, but now I love it!

You could also use “Now I prefer” to express what your current
preferences are.
I used to eat lots of meat but now I prefer to eat veggie meat.
