Finding what port customers are on is pretty easy if you know their mac address.
Below are 3 examples:

hi! how can I test the internet speed DHCP, PPPoE? I have a router here or else can I test it
using my laptop and serial port?… I am using Putty for commissioning. I have to test the
internet speed and I dont know how..

We got a new MA5616 and are setting up the in band management a bit differently…

We set the VDL ports into vlan 1 (native vlan), trunk the gigbit port (port 0/0/0) and have our
maintenance IP on vlan 999 (or whatever).

service-port 0 vlan 1 vdsl mode ptm 0/2/0 rx-cttr 6 tx-cttr 6

service-port 1 vlan 1 vdsl mode ptm 0/2/1 rx-cttr 6 tx-cttr 6
service-port 2 vlan 1 vdsl mode ptm 0/2/2 rx-cttr 6 tx-cttr 6

For getting supported boards:

#board add 0/1 ?
