    DESCRIPTION

    KANGAROO HIGH BUILD ZINC PHOSPHATE PRIMER is a quick drying primer based on phenolic resin modified
    synthetic binder and zinc phosphate pigment.

    RECOMMENDED USE

    As a rust preventing primer on interior and exterior steel exposed to mild to moderately corrosive industrial and
    marine atmosphere, under conventional or chlorinated rubber coating.

    SURFACE PREPARATION

    New Steel

    Abrasive blasting to Sa 2½ is recommended Zinc free shop primer may be used for temporary protection if required.
    Clean all damages to shop primer and contamination from storage and fabrication prior to painting. For repair and
    touch up, use High Build Zinc Phosphate primer.

    Maintenance

    Remove oil and grease with detergent solution. Remove salts and other contaminants by high pressure fresh water
    hosing. Remove loose rust by power tool mechanical cleaning. Hose down the surface with fresh water and allow it to
    dry. Touch up to full film thickness.

    SAF E T Y

    As a general rule, avoid inhalation of solvent vapour or paint mist and contact of liquid paint with skin and eyes.
    Provide forced ventilation when working with solvent borne coating in confined spaces or stagnant air. Also provide
    respiratory, skin and eye protection. Follow local and national safety regulations.
