College of Engineering and Computer Sciences (Coecs) : 1. Discuss How Does Taal Volcano Eruption Affects The Biodiversity
Taal volcano eruption is very dangerous most especially to the areas that are
near to the volcano. Eruption is a disaster that can kill lives, ruin the stable life of
many species, and also it has a big impact to the environment that can leads to
deterioration. Destruction on the environment due to eruption damages biodiversity.
Ecosystem become worst, many area are affected, plants and crops are being
destroyed, and many animals died because of the ash that came out from the
volcano. Due to the volcanic eruption, many areas are covered with ashes, the
landmass on the affected areas changed due to the pressure of magma inside and a
suddenly earthquake experienced.
This disaster is very serious, when it talks about life, security and safeness of
the place. Many species are enclosed in the place where eruption occur, so most of
them lost their habitat and several survive. The environment changed a lot, it is very
difficult to adopt when restoration takes time. Everything has all been damaged and
the way of living changed as everyone needs to work on it to restore the damages
and to bring back their life before.
The number of plants, animals and other species decreases, no place in the
affected can be considered as home for them, no one species can survive to stay and
no foods available to eat. This tragedy is very remarkable as the biodiversity
become extinct and it needs a replacement to bring them back again and make them
more.
Regarding to the eruption of Taal Volcano, many cities are affected by the
ash fall and it is not good for the health condition. This environmental issue is not
good for people who have skin diseases, lung problems, and also those who have no
lung problems may have due to sulfur dioxide that mixes to the air that can cause
asthma and respiratory diseases. The eruption dramatically affected the air quality,
it is totally unsafe and unhealthy, everyone should live the affected are and they
should wear mask for safety purposes.
It is clear for us that an environment can be unsafe for everyone, there will
be an unexpected one that may cause the environment and affect many lives that are
enclose on it. Everyone should be informed regarding to the environmental
condition because once the environment strikes many lives could be in danger, as
well as they can adopt a certain diseases to the environment that is not good for
their health.
