1. Compare and contrast the different teaching approaches in the delivery of k to 12


curriculum. Cite examples.

Answer:
As I compare and contrast I would say that education today considers the “whole”
individual and not just a focus on the subject matter. We realize that education needs to
consider that we are dealing with humans and not vessels to be filled K-12
much has changed - for the better. We recognize that not all students have the same
background or do they have the same goals.
Additionally, technology has changed teaching. It has to. No longer are we working with
blackboard and chalk, with students today. We use TV and the Internet to bring the world into
the classroom to show students who they are, their culture, their history, and what they can be.
I still love books but we need to include a healthy dose of multimedia to teach today.

2. Develop an instructional plan in your respective field.

3. What are the essential principles in outcomes based education?Discuss and give
examples of each.
Answer:
Clarity of focus-education system should be organized so that teachers and learners can
focus clearly. Consistently, systematically and creatively on the important outcomes that
learners are to achieve.
Designing down- curriculum design must be clear definition
On the significant that students are to achieve. Important instructional decisions can be made
by tracing back from this desired end result and identifying enabling outcomes that will assist
learner to achieve the broader long term outcomes.
Expanded learning- the teacher must strive to provide expanded learning opportunities
for all learners in recognition of the fact that not all learner can learn the same things in the
same way or in the same time.
High expectation-teacher should have high expectation for all students, they should
expect all students to achieve significant outcomes to high standards. From this perspective,
depth of understanding and intellectual rigour are not reserve for a few learners, they are
expected of all learner.

4. As future teacher, how can you help students develop 21st century skills?

Answer:
As future teacher 21st century learning is becoming one of the most important areas of
education in this modern age. We have so much more going on in the world today than we did
years ago. Because of all the new technology, information, and controversies it is key for
children to learn how to live in this information, Love your students and love teaching. Be trust
worthy, honest and teach everyone to their Learning Style.
