Horn activates again by new alarm
Horn is reactivated by expiring of Timers HornSilen/CritHronSilen
alarm is deactivated
There are two timers. One for critical Alarms, and the other for all other alarms.
"Critical alarms" are:
"Low lubricating oil pressure"
"High engine jacket coolant temperature"
"Start fail"
"Over-speed"
Each timer has its setpoint, for details see New setpoints in version 1.6.0 on page 6:
HornSilenTime1 - for "Critical alarms"
HornSilenTime2 - for all other alarms
Controller response to FLS of Sprikler Pressure
FLS of Sprinkler Pressure AIN:
In AUTO
Engine states Running, Starting, Cranking...
Engine is not stopped
Behaviour as if the pressure is under AutostartPress (not possible to stop by STOP button)
Engine state Cooling, Stopping, Ready
Engine is not started
Engine can be started by other causes (Start button, Binary inputs)
Alarm is announced
BOUT for alarms on all LAIs
BOUTs available for all LAIs separated for:
Warning alarm
Sd alarms
For Window protection setting are available separated BOUTs for:
Overlimit
Underlimit
Regulator function added – works the same as in standard ID-FLX-Lite
Following setpoints are moved from group Regulator to new group "Sprinkler" (All setpoints except LAI
SpdRequest, SprinklerPressMax and SprinklerPressMin):
AutostartPress
AStratPressDel
AutostopPress
ID-FLX-FPC NewFeatures 4
AStopPressDel
SprinklerPress
Created new group "Regulator" with all setpoints from ID-FLX-Lite:
LAI SpdRequest
Reg Input
Reg Bias
Request 1
Request 2
Reg Gain
Reg Integral
Reg CMP Input
Reg CMP On
Reg CMP Off
Added new LBI “RegRequest2” from ID-FLX-Lite:
Extended selection for setpoints Regulator and Sprinkler Press – added items AI6-AI9
About Regulator function refer to ID-FLX-Lite Manual
LowEngTemp protection added to AIN2
New protection added for AIN2 which is fixed, not possible to configure
Function: Wrn, All time, Under
Parameter Engine Protect: "AnlInp2lev1und".
Alarm text: "LowEngTemp"
Changed function of Start/Stop Button in AUTO mode
It is now possible to start engine by Start button even in AUTO mode
It is possible to stop engine by pressing STOP button even in Autom mode, if no cause to run the engine
is activ
New behaviour while RPM pick up fail. The failure doesn't cause automatic stop of engine enymore. The
new functionality is:
If RPM of engine falls to 0 (due to pick up failure):
Oil pressure is used as running indicator
Engine state remains running
SD alarm Pick Up fail is raised (in auto SD alarms except Overspeed don’t stop the engine!)
If no RPM is detected while starting but Oil pressure exceeds "Startiong POil"
Engine is considered as running, Oil pressure is used as main running indicator
And alarm "Pick Up fail" is announced

2.3 Repairs
Corrected options for setpoint "ECU control":
ENABLED
there is a full available control of an electronic engine given by the setting of the ECU unit of the
engine, i.e. Start request, Stop request, Speed request are enabled if available
DISABLED
control of an electronic engine is fully blocked and the controler can only monitor the values of an
electronic engine
Option STARTSTOP was removed

3 Changes in the version 1.4.1
3.1 Repairs
Repaired incompatibility with new version of ECU-5.9.0.1 package, that could cause not working ECU
interface.
ID-FLX-FPC NewFeatures 8
4 Changes in the version 1.4.0
4.1 New features
Starters alternation
Binary outputs Start A and Start B alternate beside unsuccessful starts during normal starts as well.
Function is valid in TEST and AUT mode. No change in starters alternating during unsuccessful start.
Example: The first start after power on is performed through LBO Start A, the next start through LBO Start B
… etc.
This change replaces following former function: LBO Start B was activated instead Start A (in TEST mode)
when START button was pressed within 14 sec after previous engine stop.
ID-FLX-FPC NewFeatures 9
GS-PTM module
Was removed to avoid conflict with IL-NT-AIO values and protection setpoints.
4.2 Repairs
Wrn Underspeed
Repaired wrong Wrn Underspeed indication in Alarm list – now is possible to reset it after engine stop.
Repaired starting sequence
In case of unexpected engine stop in AUT mode (e.g. due to lack of fuel) controller will wait for RPM=0
and activates next cranking sequence (LBO Starter) again after 1 sec.
ID-FLX-FPC NewFeatures 10
5 Changes in the version 1.3.0
5.1 New features
Correction of screen of the controller with Battery A bar graph in Chinese language
ID-FLX-FPC NewFeatures 11
6 Changes in the version 1.2.0
6.1 New features
Modification of the LBO Start A, Start B and Starter timing. LBO Starter is activated 400 ms after the
activation of the LBO Start x (x=A or B) and is deactivated 400 ms before the deactivation of the LBO Start x
Modification of the start sequence: after the restart of the controller, the battery A is always used at first
(before, even after the controller restart, the controller made the first start with the last successful battery).
This modification is consistent with the old system and moreover, proposes a higher flexibility of the battery
contactors wiring.
Added: the new setpoint RPMbyWterminal. The value of this setpoint multiplies the speed value obtained
from the controller input RPM. Step: 0.01, Range 0,5 – 2.
The default value is and must be 1, when the classical pick-up speed sensor is used to measure the
engine speed.
The setpoint is useful when the engine does not have the speed sensor and the speed is measured by
the W terminal of the charging alternator. The setpoint allows tuning the ratio between the frequency and
the RPM value which can not to correspond to the entire values of teeth numbers (because of the
different non-integral ratio of the engine and alternator pulleys).
Added: new setpoint AirGate, with options ENABLED/DISABLED. The option DISABLED blocs the
function of AirGate. This allows the module IL-IB to work (when connected).

7 Changes in the version 1.1.2
7.1 Repairs
Correction of alarm visualization. In the version 1.1.1, when the controller was running in the AUT mode so
that the underspeed must not shut the engine down, the controller correctly kept the status Running, but the
text of the alarm message was repeatedly declared and hidden.
After the correction in the version 1.1.2, only alarm message Wrn Underspeed is generated in this
situation
ID-FLX-FPC NewFeatures 13
8 Changes in the version 1.1.1
8.1 New features
The change concerns the behavior during the start in the TEST mode. In the version 1.1 and older, there was
not possible to test the start with the battery B, if the start with the battery A was successful. The controller
tried to start from the battery B only when the start from the battery A was not successful.
In this version 1.1.1, it is possible to test the start with the battery B, even after the successful start from
the battery A.
Handling description:
After the successful start from the battery A, the engine is running.
Stop the engine manually (with the panel button Stop)
Wait until the yellow LED BATTERY B on the controller panel is blinking
If the panel button Start is pushed while LED Battery B is blinking, the controller will try to start from the
battery B
If no start order comes while LED Battery B is blinking, the controller passes to the initial TEST status and is
ready again to start from the battery A.

9 Changes in the version 1.1.0
9.1 New features
ID-FLX-FPC-1.1 is distributed as ID-FLX-FPC-1.1.iwe package. It is compatible with the LiteEdit-4.5 (or higher)
PC software – use installation package LiteEdit 4.5 r1 Installation Suite from ComAp web.
LBO V batt failed: Indicates common Battery A or Battery B fail.
CPU temp: Value is not any more visible in the LiteEdit – Values (it is not measured in this type of
controller).
