2. PRESENTACIÓN
At the end of this guide the apprentice will be able to: use comparative and superlative forms of adjectives
to compare people, things etc.
Warm up: Game- the class gets divided into two groups. The participants of each group one by one come
to the board and write down an adjective. The game lasts until the groups don`t have more ideas. The
group with more correctly written adjectives wins.
Presentation: comparative and superlative forms of adjectives. The teachers show some videos which
explain the grammar. Apprentices` task is to fill the given grammar table. The teachers explain also the
comparative of equality and comparative in general- “than”.
Practice: The apprentices fill the gaps using the correct forms of the adjectives (in comparative and
superlative forms).
Production: Apprentices work in pairs. The task is to write ten sentences describing the comparison
between living in a city and in a country side. At the end apprentices read their sentences to the whole
group.

What is a phoneme?
A set of phonetically similar but slightly differing sounds in a language that are
heard as the same sound by native speakers and are represented in phonemic
transcription by the same s ymbol. A phoneme is also the way we pronounce a
letter.
