1. To ensure that the product will be strategically promoted in a very good way in which
it can penetrate into the market.
2. To attract more customers within 5 months of operation.
3. To guarantee that the chosen promotional campaigns will not only benefit the company
but also the customers that will buy the products.

lifestyle to the people. Nowadays, it is important that small entrepreneurs will realize that starting
a business has a large contribution to the economic desirability of the country.
The researchers consider the whole part of the business especially the social
impact to the community. This will benefit to the following:

The owners will be benefited by earning profits and it will help them to improve
their skills and knowledge in managing and operating the business.

The Customers
This study provides the customers a service with high quality customized printed
shirts at affordable prices. The customers will be benefited because this study was
intended for them.
The Suppliers
Suppliers will be benefited because the business will provide a additional income
or profit that they get through supplying a company of the needed materials and
equipment in production.
The Community
The proposed business aims to help in increasing the employment rate in the
community by providing jobs to the people .
The Government
In establishing a business, registration of business is necessary to have permits
and licenses from the government offices to allow them to give service in the community.
The taxes collected in a business by the government help to support the needs of the
public.
The Future Researchers

The future researchers will be benefited in the proposed business by using the
information and the study conducted as their pattern for their research study.
Employment Generation
Poverty is one of the major problems that the Philippines facing today. One
reason of poverty is the large number of unemployed Filipinos in the country and lack of
job opportunities for undergraduates and degree holder individuals. The I.N.K Printing
and Designing Shop will help to lessen the problem by providing job opportunities to the
people, most especially to the municipality of Mamburao.
The business will employ and train employees for them to perform their jobs. In
addition, the business looking forward to help the municipality of Mamburao, and the
government in utilizing the human resources available.
Environmental Considerations
Global Warming is one of the main issues on the environment today. Most of the
pollution came from industries and factories that use different kinds of machineries and
equipments that harm the environments.. The business will assure that the production of
the shirts services will not damage, harm and destroy the environment. All the
equipments will be environmental friendly. The firm makes sure that the garbages and
waste are properly disposed in a separate area outside the production area.
The firm is aware on their sense of responsibility in serving the communities. The
business focus on the quality and safety of the product and services offered.
Sources of Data
The instrument that will be used in gathering information is the survey
questionnaire. A structured one those questionnaire answered by the proposed business
target customers which are the students, different schools around in Mamburao, and the
different kind of occasions. The first part of the questionnaire is consist of the
demographic profile of the participants .
The second part of the questionnaire were contains close ended questions regarding
the I.N.K Printing and Designing Shop which is the name of the proposed services.
Primary Data
Primary data will be gathered through questionnaires. The researchers will
conduct a survey from the derived target market of the proposed business.
Secondary Data
Secondary data were gathered from books, internet websites like google and some
related studies of graduate students. It serves as basis in doing the research paper. The
sources of data used by the researchers have been a great help in making the research
paper.
Finally the results yielded from these questionnaire the proponents showed the
results of the observation to know if the service proposal will click and patronize by the
people living in the community of Municipality of Mamburao.
Definition of Terms
Coloring. Designs directly applying an image with the color of the t-shirt.
Computer. It is an important machinery used the shop to create and provide a food
quality of design t-shirts.
Customers. The major customers of the printing and publishing industry could be the
consumers include households, students, teachers, researchers, professionals, and
political candidates that held some occasions during their campaign.
Demand. It is a customer interest in acquiring goods or services.
Patterning. The designs applied to t-shirts through painting or printing with resist in
patterns and then coloring the t-shirts.
Printing. The type of service offered in the community of Mamburao.
Suppliers. Among the major suppliers of the printing and publishing industry across
subsectors are the suppliers of paper, ink, fuel, and printing equipment. Also important
suppliers are companies that provide transportation, electricity, and postal and messenger
services.
Supply. To give or sell needed materials and equipment use in production of I.N.K
Printing and Designing Shop.
Survey Questionnaire. It is a research instrument consisting of a series of questions for
the purpose of gathering information from respondents.
Target market. It is a particular group of consumers at which a service is aimed.
T-shirt. Is the materials we use in our shop where our new design and new ideas where
apply and draw and also being artistic of an individual will show and enhance.
CHAPTER II
MARKET STUDY
Marketing is very important aspect in a business since it contributes greatly to the
success of the organization. The production and distribution largely on marketing. In this
chapter, the topics to be discussed are the market description; demand analysis; supply
analysis; demand and supply analysis; and the marketing strategies including product
strategies, price strategies, promotion strategies, and distribution strategies.
Market Description
In this study, the researcher chose the municipality of Mamburao to be the
location of the proposed business due to some reasons: Mamburao is the capital of
Occidental Mindoro it is consist of 15 Barangays. The municipality of Mamburao lies on
the level area of coastal bank of Mamburao River and extends far beyond into inferior at
the foot of the mountains. The proposed business considers the demographic aspect of the
business such as age, income, and the status of the target market.
According to the PSA, there are 42, 975 residents of Mamburao, Occidental
Mindoro as of 2015. The primary target market of the proposed business will be offered
to the residents of Brgy. 9, Mamburao, Occidental Mindoro with a total of population of
10, 706 residents. The secondary target of the proposed business are the nearby Barangay
including Barangay 1 to Barangay 8, Mamburao, Occidental Mindoro with a total of
population of. This target market includes students, different school around Mamburao,
different agencies, and employees. They were chosen believing that they need to become
a role model in society by wearing their uniform or printed t-shirts in different occasions
that held in our community.
Demand Analysis
When the population increases the demand also increases. There is always the possibility
of higher and continous increase in the number of people who will be interested and
patronize I.N.K Printing and Designing Shop to feel and experience a good service and
get a good quality of printed shirts.
The people living in the Barangay 9, Mamburao, Occidental Mindoro will be
considered as the target market of the proposed business.
The researcher used the Sloven’s formula to get the total number of the target
population of the proposed business to easily determine the number of customers that the
proposed business wants to target through conducting survey and interviews by those
choosen person who will able to answer very well all the given questions in our survey
questionnaire that prepared by the researcher.
Table 1 shows the total target market of I.N.K Printing and Designing Shop in the
municipality of Mamburao, Occidental Mindoro. The total number of population of Brgy.
9, Mamburao, occidental Mindoro is 10,656 and the growth rate is 1.40% given by the
Philippine Statistics Authority.

CHAPTER III
TECHNICAL STUDY
A. Service Description
The proposed business will provide high quality and affordable service to every
valued customer. The type of service that the proponents will be offering are printing and
designing of t-shirts.
The proposed business offers a multi-design customized printed shirts depending
upon the wants and preferences of the customers. The customers can freely choose their
design and color of their shirts.
The proponents will be using the Kornit DIG Printer in printing the designs on the
shirts. This Epson’s product offering is claimed to be economical and multifunction
inkjet machinery. Given the lower prices, it is interesting to note how good and useful
can these printers for the achievement of the production. Every t-shirt’s price varies
depending upon the design, size and color of the shirts.
B. Service Process
To ensure that there will be a good quality of printed shirt, continuous and
effective flow of the business operations is considered. The proposed business will follow
several steps for its production process of service with corresponding time on how long
each process will take or consumed.

The following are service process of the business:
1. Start
The customers of the proposed business will enter to the printing shop to
inquire for the service offered.
2. Customer Assistance
The staffs will assist the customers about their needed service.
3. Choose a brand of shirt
The staff will ask the customers to their preferred brand of shirt.
4. Create your design
The design personnel will be responsible creating the layout of the design
that will be printed on the shirts.
5. Choose color codes
The customer will choose their preferred color for the design of their shirts.
If the graphics contain colors other than black or white, the customer will provide the
appropriate PMS color codes in order to mix the paint and match to the visions.
6. Prepare your printer textile
The assigned staff will prepare all the machineries needed in the production
to start the process of applying the design on the t-shirts. He/she will check the ink level
of the printer before using the machine.
7. Transfer the design
Once the graphics is done, the printing personnel will transfer the design on
the printer textile use in the production.

8. Printing of shirts
Once everything is ready, the designs will be transferred to the shirts.

9. Proceed to the Cashier
The customer will pay for the service rendered that will take two minutes.
The proponents of the I.N.K Printing and Designing Shop will ensure that all
the customers of the printing shop are given the needed assistance upon entrance. All the
necessary materials needed for the process of production is prepared. The proponents
assure that the workplace is always clean for the convenience of the customers who came
to avail the service. The proponents of the proposed service want every customer to feel
that I.N.K Printing and Designing Shop is different from other printer shop that it will
give them satisfaction and good quality product and fast service on its affordable prices.
C. Machinery, Equipment, Furniture, and Fixture
The proposed business needed some necessary machineries and equipment to be
able to operate and get the satisfaction and wants of the customers to perform the service
they want once they enter the shop. The other machineries and equipment such as
computer, printer will be purchased from lazada.com.ph. The extension wires will be
used in the business will be four meters long. The total amount of all the machineries and
equipment is 96,862.00.

Table shows the furniture and fixtures of the proposed business which will be
purchased with the total amount of Php 25,195.00. Each furniture and fixtures shows the
uses and economic useful life with their corresponding amount.
D. Building and Facilities

The proposed business will rent a space with a total area of 20 square meters for
3,500.00 a month. The location of the business is at Brgy.9, Mamburao Occidental
Mindoro. The facilities such as sanitation and power are also provided.

The proponents will be using created logo of the proposed business to be easily
recognized by customers. The business logo used colors in light shades to be more
attractive. The toilet bowl in the comfort room and fluorescent lamps is already installed
in renting space.

The proposed business is located near Occidental Mindoro National High School.
It is a highly accessible to potential customers since it is near the main road since there
are many people and vehicles that passed by. It is a rural side of the Municipality of
Mamburao which make it more accessible to meet the demand of the proposed business
target market.

F. Layout
Figure 3.3 shows the floor plan of I.N.K Printing and Designing shop. The
workplace consist of different parts those are manager’s office, customers waiting area,
assistant manager office, printing personnel office, design personnel office, cashier’s
counter, and kitchen . Inside the workplace there is comfort room that available to use of
the employees and customers.

G. Capacity and Scheduling
The above table shows the capacity of the proposed business machineries in terms
of printing and designing t-shirts. The computation used by the proponents is based on
the number of pieces of printed t-shirts every hour and multiplied by the number of hours
by the machine will consume a day which is ten (10) hours to be able to get the total
pieces of printed t-shirts produced a day. Then the total number of printed t-shirts
produced per day is multiplied by the number of days in a month. The business operates
twenty seven (27) days to be able to get the total number of printed t-shirts per month and
multiplied by twelve (12). To get the yearly capacity, the proponents computed for the
capacity of the shop to determine the projected revenue of the propose service in a year.

The table below shows the daily working schedule of the employees of the
propose business. All employees are necessary to report everyday to the owner and will
have 30 minutes allotted for their break time. The proposed business will operate from
8:00 am to 7:00 pm it depends upon the consumer demand. Every Sunday will be the day
of every employee.
H. Service Cost
The costing is the part of operating cost which is used in all business that provides
services. For calculating the price of each service, it is every necessary to collect all the
expenses relating to the service offered. Table 3.6 shows the service cost of the I.N.K
Printing and Designing Shop for fiscal and annual year. The proponents make a cost
sheet which shows all the cost related to the proposed business.

I. Raw Materials and Supplies
The raw materials and supplies are one of the primary considerations to
continually running the production of the proposed business. Since the location of the
business is near in different stores the proponents can easily buy the needed materials and
supplies for the operation of the business. The proponents will acquire their raw materials
and supplies in JV Family Mart, Beper Pag-asa and Kanluran branch, and Aguila Store.
Table 3.7 shows the supplies expense of the I.N.K pring and Designing Shop with
a total amount of Php 20.240.00.

The table 3.8 and 3.9 shows the utilities expenses and cost of the business.
Electricity is the primary utility requirement because the proposed business is printing
shop. The proposed service will greatly need this to operate the machineries and
equipments and it also set the atmosphere at the workplace for its lightning, crude oil is
used for generators, a good water supply can enable the employees to perform task such
as cleaning the area and the comfort room. The business need to settle business permits
and licenses in order to operate.

CHAPTER IV
ORGANIZATIONAL AND MANAGEMENT STUDY
The overall implementation plan will be discussed in the organization and
management study.This chapter include a study of needed personnel,basic consideration
in forming the organizational grant chart and project schedule.This chapter helps to
determine the successful of the project study.
Management is a group of people who are responsible and organize the
whole process of the workplace.This is the basis it the proposed business will able to
efficiently utilize its resources and seeing it the business meets its goals and objectives.
A.Form of Business Ownership

A form of business ownership vanes and depends on the nature,size and operation
of the business.The type of ownership of I.N.K Printing and desining shop is partnership.
Partnership is a business owned and operated by two or more persons who combine their
resources,money and property with the intention of dividing the profits among
themselves.
The proponents choose partnership for INK Printing and Designing Shop because
they will perform their duties and responsibilities to continually circulating the
production at the proposed business. The general partners is the one who has a
responsibities to do some outside transaction of the business and the one liable for any
type of loans that may use in the business. Limited partners is the one who has a
responsibilities to provide investment and share profit for the proposed
business.Industrial partners they are the person who has enough knowledge and skills in
running the business operations.

B. Personnel Requirements
The proposed business will be a great help to the students or other people of
Mamburao.In fact upon of the I.N.K Printing and Designing Shop,it will look for
personnel to perform some task inside the production of the business.It needs several
personnel to ensure the effective flow of the production that would read in the attainment
of its goals and objective of the proposed business.Having the standard qualification and
requirements in hiring and selecting employees is important to choose a good and well-
skilled persons to perform each task.It develop policies and activities to promote the
satisfaction of both individual and also the organizational needs,goals and objectives.The
proposed business become successful depends on the effective blending of money,
machines and materials to achieve the business objectives.

The business use the line and staff type of organization since it is company used
type organization structure. This is the best structure they will fit the overall operation
because there will be direct flow of authorities of the employees. Despite of some
advantages of this type of structure the proponents still choose it because it is shown
limited subordinates of the business.
General Manager must be responsible for planning, directing, and managing the
business. She has the right to make decisions ad to give orders concerning the production,
finance and sales of production. She is also responsible to formulate rules and regulation
that must be follow inside the firm and give sanction to its employee who doesn’t
perform their duties well. The general manager is also has the rights to figure out the gain
profits of the business for each operation and has the rights to budget all the money of the
firm. Any find of transaction will be approved by him.

Assistant Manager is the right hand of the General Manager. He must be
responsible also in running the business. He was the one who manage the business when
the general manager presence is not seen inside the firm. He will also share his idea in
attaining the business objective. He also handles the payroll for the employees and the
making of financial statements and other related activities.
Design Personnel the one who is responsible to layout and sketch to the computer
the graphics and design of the customers to be applied for the t-shirts. Sometimes the
customers didn’t consult to design personnel to make a layout for their t-shirt, because
some of them bring their own layout of the design to be apply in the t-shirts.
Printing Personnel is the who is responsible to assist the machineries and apply
the design to t-shirts that created by the design personnel.
B. Qualification Standard
The propose business will needed personnel for the operation of the business. The
proponents set the basic and important qualifications for each job. It is important to adopt
the standards depending on the nature of job for each title. Here are some criteria for the
qualification in position needed.

1. Atleast 25 to 30 years old
2.Male or female
3. Must be a graduate of BSc/BA in Business Administration or relevant field.
4. Has an experience in commanding subordinates.
5. With strong communication, and interpersonal and leadership skills.
6. Must have a pleasing personality.
7. Flexible in adopting changes inside the business firm.
8.Innovative in formulating new ideas.
9. Proficient user of MS Office (MS Excel in particular).
10. Experience with recruiting and performance evaluation processes.
Assistant Manager
1. Atleast 18-25 years old

3. Must be a resident in Mamburao
4.Must be a graduate of BSc/BA in Business Administration or relevant field.

6.Very flexible and has a good interpersonal skill.
7. Proven experience as a Assistant Manager.

A job description is a list that a person might use for general task or functions,
and responsibilities for a position. It may often include to whom the position reports and
specifications.
General Manager
1. Manage the overall operational, budgetary, and financial responsibilities and
activities of the department.

2. Review performance data that includes financial, sales, and activity reports and
spreadsheets, to monitor and measure departmental productivity, goal achievement, and
overall effectiveness.
3. Manage the preparation and maintenance of reports necessary to carry out the functions
of the department. Prepares periodic reports for management, as necessary or requested, to
track strategic goal accomplishment.
4. Lead employees to meet the organization's expectations for productivity, quality, and goal
accomplishment.
5. Provide effective performance feedback through employee recognition, rewards,
and disciplinary action, with the assistance of Human Resources, when necessary.

Design Personnel
1. Illustrates concept by designing rough layout of art and copy regarding arrangement, size,
type size and style, and related aesthethic concepts.
2. Plans concept by studying information and materials.
3. Obtains approval of concept by submitting rough layout for approval.
4. Prepares final layout by marking and pasting up finished copy and art.
5. Maintains technical knowledge by attending design workshops.

6. Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.
Printing Personnel
1. Set up or operate various types of printing machines.
2. Blend test paint, inks, stains, and solvents according types of material being pringted and
work order specifications.
3. Inspect and examine printed products for print clarity, color accuracy, conformance to
specifications, and external defects.
4. Monitor feeding, printing, and racking processes of presses in order to maintain specified
operating levels and to detect malfucntions to make any necessary adjustments.
5. Coordinate printing activities of workers who set up, clean and feed machines.
E. Compensation Package
In return for a job well done employees will be given their monthly salary and
wages.The compensation is designed to value the reward employee’s performance, as well
as the acquisition and development of skills and competencies while maintaining pay
competitiveness with the local market.

Table 4.2 shows the compensation package of the supervisors and
employees. The amount of salary given to each employee is based on their job
description. The total amount of personnel salary for one year operation is P291,600.00.
Any late or absence will be deducted from their monthly salary depending on the
reason of doing so. P5 will be deducted for every minute of being late. The daily rate
will be deducted upon any absence. The employee will receive their salary every end of
the month but the employee can have an advance payment of salary when needed.
