SECOND ENGLISH ACTIVITY

• Why etiquette, manners, and cross cultural, or intercultural

communication have become critical elements required for all
International and Global Business executives, managers, and
employees?
Business etiquette is basically about building
relationships with other people which is. Etiquette is not about
rules & regulations but is about providing basic social comfort
and creating an environment where others feel comfortable
and secure, this is possible through better communication.

Social media communication platforms (i.e. Facebook,

Linkedin) are evolving rapidly day by day, as the concept of
social media etiquette becomes a crucial part of business.
Business etiquette consists of two things. Firstly, thoughtful
consideration of the interests and feelings of others and
secondly, being able to minimise misunderstandings.  These
are influenced by individual behaviour & demeanour. Business
etiquette instructs this behaviour.

Business etiquette differs from region to region and from

country to country. This creates a complex situation for
people as it is hard to balance the focus on both international
business etiquette and other business activities at the same
time. Therefore, a wise step is to focus on some key pillars of
business etiquette.

RECOMMENDATIONS OF CANADIAN RESTAURANTS

“Boss, when I went to Canada I stayed in Alberta for two

weeks and apart of the Louise Lake, there’s some Canadian
restaurants on Banff that I want to recommend you.
1. El Toro: That restaurant offers an amazing and typical
Canadian breakfast, there was something that the waitress
recommended me, and it was the peanut butter, that’s
incredible, you can’t imagine the flavor it has, it was a really
good experience.

2. Melissa´s Missteak: In this restaurant you are going to

find the biggest breakfast in the whole province! It is
awesome, it is impossible for you going out from there
hungry. Price is reasonable.

3. Mapple Leaf. Griller & Lounge: When you step there,

you are going to find the most Canadian restaurant in the
country. Its mountain style, its Canadian flags everywhere,
and its typical cuisine in every dish you taste remind you
where you in. Price is a little bit expensive, that restaurants is
special for visitants.

4. Indian Summer: An Indian restaurant within Canada? For

sure! Everybody knows that Canada is a multicultural country
and it is not weird find restaurants from other countries.
Indian Summer is an elegant and sophisticated restaurant
located inside a hotel where you can find the most typical
Indian food. This place is gorgeous, but its price is very high.

There´s a bonus, I highly recommend you ‘Cows’ a place

where you can try the most delicious ice creams in Alberta,
they have a lot of flavors and it is a very cool place to visit.
