Appendix 8 Upgrading the AP
NOTE
If not specified, the displayed content will be the same in Windows Vista, Windows 7 and Windows 10.
To open the control panel in Windows 10, press <Windows> + <R> to open the Run window, enter “Control” and click [OK]. Read the following
procedures as for Windows 10 if you are using Windows 10.
Do not click the command prompt to be displayed during installation.
* In Windows 10 environment, the command prompt turns into “Range specification mode” in standard, if the command prompt is clicked, the control will

The EI correction value in V7.4 or earlier was taken over when the
system was upgraded; however, at the time of upgrading to V8.0 or
later, the EI correction value is not taken over (but overwritten).
In the facility where the EI correction value is customized, to upgrade
the system to V8.0 or later, manually take over the value by following
the procedure below.

2. System Migration ➤ IMPORTANT
The system migration from CR-IR 348CL can be performed only when
the migration source PC and migration destination PC are different.
Before migrating the system, check the following.
2.1 System Migration to DR-ID 300CL - Check that there are no patients reserved for exposure (no
V5.0 - V8.1 patients are registered in the examination queue window).
- Check that no image is left in the QA queue or output queue.
This section describes the procedures for migrating the target Console
to the DR-ID 300CL in any version between V5.0 - V8.1. NOTE
The following Consoles can be migrated. Hereinafter, the PC to which the Console to be migrated is installed is
DR-ID 300CL : V4.0 described as “Migration source PC”, and the PC to which the DR-ID
CR-IR 348CL : V8.0 - V8.3 300CL V5.0 or later is to be installed (or already installed) is described

If the transferred marker file is not named with one-byte
alphameric characters, the marker file will not be recognized. In
this case, change the file name with one-byte alphameric
characters, and modify the “RegMarkerBmp.csv” file as well.
If the file name is changed, auto-marker will not be transferred.

■ Creating the media for backup
NOTE
The tool used in the procedures here is not included in V9.0 DR-ID
300CL-AP Disk. When migrating the system to V9.0, use the tool
attached in ECN “No. 2016-E-0081”.
The media for backup can be created by any PC.
1. Insert the latest DR-ID 300CL-AP Disk to the PC.
2. Open the “tools” folder in the disk.
3. Copy “SystemConvertToolAdvance” folder to any media.
4. Open the copied folder to check if the files below are in the
folder.
