(b) Design the R.C.C long wall of an open rectangular water tank of size 3 m x 8 m (in plan) and 3 m

(c) A simply supported R.C beam has a clear span of 5 m and it rests on 200 mm thick walls on both

is 50 kN/m including self weight. Design the shear reinforcement for the beam by limit state
method, if the tensile reinforcement of HYSD bars equal to 1256 mm2 has been provided in the
beam near the supports.
M20 grade concrete is using. Assume 2 legged 8 mm diameter stirrups with Fe-250 grade steel.
