Ae = Effective cross-sectional area
µ = slip factor
Pu = steel tension until tension plastic

3 Strength sliding pivot of Bolt

Vb = Ø x r1 x fu(bolt) x Ab
= 0.75 x 0.5 x 3794 x (1/4 x π x 1.2²)
= 1608.2766 Kg
= 1.6082766 Ton

Annotation :
Vd = Strong nominal pivot bolt
Ø = strength reduction factor
r1 = without threaded bolts in shear field
fu = bolt tensile breaking
Ab = gross cross-sectional area in the region was a threaded bolt

4 Strength sliding pivot of Plate

S1 = 25 mm > 1.5 x Ø
S1 = 25 mm > 1.5 x 12 mm
S1 = 25 mm > 18 mm

Annotation :
Rb = Strong pivot plate nominal weight due to concentrated loads
or local or against buckling
Ø = strength reduction factor
db = nominal bolt diameter in non threaded area
tp = plate thickness
