Volunteer work in the Harrisburg Community
• Attended community meetings and listened to grievances of the citizens
to better understand what was needed in the community.
• Collaborated with a team of six to design and carry out an expansion of
the Harrisburg community walking trail.
• Presented an overview of the planning and implementation strategies of
the walking trail expansion to the citizens of Harrisburg during a
community meeting.

Volunteer at Fellowship Home at Meriwether August 2019 – December 2019
• Collaborated with three interns and two staff members to plan and
execute 3 social events for the residents.
• Created a welcoming and festive environment for the residents by
assisting staff in decorating the facility for fall.
• Interviewed multiple residents about their life before they moved to
Fellowship and summarized their answers for the facility’s annual
yearbook.
Internship at the GC&SU Women’s Center January-April 2020
• Learned and successfully utilized skills in fundraising and community
outreach to support the 15th anniversary of the Women’s Center.
• Collaborated with fellow interns and staff members to plan and execute
awareness weeks on various topics.
• Grew my project management skills by developing my own project and
collecting data for future use within the Women’s Center.
