R
osebud Media is a consultative media company that provides the means to
deliver your message to the right audience in the most effective way. From
video, to online, to print, Rosebud Media products provide an array of
advertising and marketing vehicles including the Mail Tribune, MailTribune.com,
Ashland Tidings, AshlandTidings.com, Oregon Healthy Living, and much, much
more. Let Rosebud Media help you access your desired market with these exciting,
highly successful marketing products from one central strategic marketing
resource where trustworthy brands, credible research, and local knowledge work
together to provide results.

Our subscriber list is growing, and we couldn’t be more pleased to expand two
of the oldest newspapers in Oregon and remain a locally owned, independent
newspaper publisher practicing journalism with the standards and values we
started with in 1864. We strive daily to deliver news in an unbiased way, and to
bring our editorial pages to life with opposing points of view that allow all sides
of a topic to be considered by you the reader. At a time where national news
outlets, especially cable channels, have declared sides and deliver news through
partisan filters, we recognize the need for your local newspaper to double down
on earning its credibility each day.

M A R K ET I N FOR MAT IO N JAC KSON COUNTY M ARKET PROFILE

Jackson County’s increasingly diverse economic base and growing population have been key to establishing the
Southern Oregon market as a vibrant one. The market’s unique location in the Rogue Valley places it far enough away
from urban centers like Portland and San Francisco to be independent of them, but close enough to invite travel back
and forth. Its strong base of local consumers and service-oriented industries are complemented by significant annual
tourism revenue.

Along with affordable living and varied employment opportunities, creative small business programs have contributed
to helping make the Southern Oregon market an ideal locale to live, visit, work, and play. Rosebud Media is this market’s
premier news and information source, and offers a full schedule of print and online advertising options for your
business that are uniquely local and highly effective.

S EM & SEO (SEARCH ENGINE MARKETING & OPTIMIZATION)

SEARCH ENGINE MARKETING (SEM)
allows advertisers to purchase/bid for ad placement in the
sponsored links at the top of a search engine’s search results
page. Consumers will see the sponsored links first when
searching keywords relating to your business offerings.

SEARCH ENGINE OPTIMIZATION (SEO)

is a combination of strategies and techniques that help
ensure your website is found by users on major search
engines (e.g. Google, Yahoo & Bing). There are several
factors that the search engines use to determine where
your site is ranked in their results. We can work to ensure
your website gets on the first page of search results by
boosting your business organically in the rankings.

WEBSITE DEVELOPMENT
Our team will build you a website from the ground up and simultaneously
implement an SEO campaign to help you climb the rankings of Google.
Whether it’s a landing page, 5-page site, 10-page site, or an e-commerce
site, we have the solutions to fit your business needs. We do our best to keep
the process simple with templates and a proofing system to make sure you
love the design.

California. The Mail Tribune was awarded the 1934
Pulitzer Prize for Meritorious Service, and continues

ALACARTE & SAVOR are weekly guides that act as a

local businesses. Alacarte/Savor includes articles on food

columns, and comic strips.

Alacarte is inserted into the Mail Tribune each Wednesday.

The Southern Oregon Savor is distributed to 19,500

residents in the Rogue Valley who do not have a
subscription to the Tribune, and the Ashland Savor is
distributed to 5,800 Ashland residents without a Tribune or
Tidings subscription.

SAVVY LIVING features articles

advertising inserts and coupons,
and publishes each Sunday.

PREPRINT JACKETS & INSERTS

PREPRINT INSERTS are stand-alone

advertisements placed into a newspaper.
These can come in all shapes and sizes and
are supplied by the advertiser. Sundays are the
most popular day to contain inserts as that day
typically carries the highest circulation of any
day of the week.

PREPRINT JACKETS are the newsprint “wraps”

that hold all of the Preprint Inserts. These are
full-page advertisements, and can be 2 or 4
pages with both color and black & white pages.
Jackets are a great way to get your business
or organization in front of consumers already
seeking out deals and specials in the inserts.

“WE DELIVER” FLYERS & POSTCARDS

“WE DELIVER” offers flyers or postcards that we print for the

advertiser. We can handle the design in-house, or accept press-ready art
from the client. These could be considered our version of Direct Mailers,
but at a much lower price. Our “mailers” are put into our publications
with other inserts and distributed to over 40,000 households (whose
residents typically have a higher level of education, higher income, and
are more motivated to spend their consumer dollars).
