2. FOR PHYSICALLY CHALLENGED PERSONS:
2.1 For Both Posts-The reservation for Physically challenged
persons is as per G.R. No.Apang-2007/C.R.-61/Sudhar-3,

2.2 For the post of Item No.01- Physically Challenged Persons
of sub-categorywise reservation of post mentioned above is as
per the G.R. of Government of Maharashtra Higher &
Technical Education Dept.NO-Apang-2006/(160/06)/†ÖãÖÖ-2 dated

2 July, 2008, the physically challenged persons of Low
Vision, Partially Sighted, Partially Deaf, One leg Affected, One
Arm Affected are eligible for this post, subject to clarification
received from the Government
2.3 For the post of Item No.02- Physically Challenged Persons
of sub-category wise reservation of post is as per the G.R. of
Government of Maharashtra Higher & Technical Education

Dept.NO-Apang-2006/(160/06)/†ÖãÖÖ-2 dated.2 July, 2008, the
physically challenged persons of Low Vision, Partially Deaf,
One leg Affected, One Arm Affected are eligible for this post.
3. PAY: Rs.6500-200-10500/- plus other admissible allowances
as per prevalent rules.
4. AGE :
4.1 Not more than 35 years as on 1st December, 2008.
Relaxable as per Rules.
4.2 The upper age limit shall not apply to the employee of
Government of Maharashtra.
4.3 The upper age limit may be relaxed by the Government on the
recommendations of the Commission in favour of candidates
having exceptional qualifications or experience or both.
5. QUALIFICATIONS- For both posts - Candidates must
5.1 Possess a Degree atleast in Second Class or a Post-Graduate
Degree. And
5.2 Possess experience preferably in a Supervisory capacity for not
less than five years in a Government office or an Educational
Institution, gained after acquiring the basic academic
qualifications mentioned in the sub-clause 5.1
5.3 Preference may be given to candidates possessing exceptional
qualifications or experience or both.
5.4 If candidates with the prescribed period of experience are not
available in sufficient Number, those with experience of a
shorter period (upto 40%) may also be considered.
5.5 For the post Item No.02 – If at any stage of selection the
Commission is of the opinion that sufficient number of
candidates possessing the requisite higher basic academic
qualification or experience are not available to fill up the
vacancies reserved for candidates belonging to the Denotified
Tribes(A) or Nomadic Tribes(D), then the Commission may in
the matter of such selection, relax the requirement in respect of
class in academic qualifications or the period of experience (to
the extent 40%) or both set out therein, and select suitable
candidates belonging to such Castes or Tribes.
6. DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES : The details regarding duties and
responsibilities of the post are available on web site of the Maharashtra
Public Service Commission.
7. GENERAL :
7.1 Selected candidates will be on probation for a period of
two years.
7.2 This post is pensionable as per to G.R. Finance Department
No.CPS-1005/126/Ser-4, Date 31st October, 2005. & as per
G.R.,CPS-1006/87/Ser-4, dt.12th Jan. 2007.
7.3 For Registrar-I.T.I. post -There is a prospect of promotion
to the post Deputy District Vocational Education and
Training Officer (N.T.), Gr.-A (Jr.).
7.4 The selected candidates will be required to sign a bond serve
Government for atleast two years and in default to forfeit such
amount as Govt. may prescribe.
8. NOTES
8.1 Written objective type test (multiple choice questions) will be
conducted and followed by interview for selection of candidates
to the posts. Marks obtained in the written test will be added to
the marks obtained in the interview. However, the Commission at
it's discretion, may shortlist the applicants for interview based on
reasonable criteria i.e. higher qualification and/or experience in
place of written test. In case of the written test, the syllabus and
medium of question paper and other details for the test shall be
displayed on the Commission's Website. Accordingly the
weightage of written tests and interview shall also be displayed.
8.2 Candidates may please note if the number of applications
received is not very large, the Commission may shortlist
candidates for interview based upon reasonable criteria i.e.
qualification / experience and above these prescribed without
resorting to written test.
8.3 No copies of any certificate require to be attached with
application form. However, candidates are required to furnish an
affidavit on a stamp paper of Rs.100/- to be affirmed before Notary in
respect of correctness and authenticity of the information
mentioned in the application form. Specimen of an affidavit is
published on the web site alongwith the duties and
responsibilities of said post.
8.4 The candidate should submit all the original certificates
along with one set of zerox copy at the time of interview as
per instruction given in chapter-4 of the prospectus
provided alongwith the application form..

9.1 The Application must be submitted on the form supplied by
the Commission for Direct Recruitment.

9.3 The details of Post offices where Application forms along with
prospectus for Direct Recruitment is available on the website of
the Maharashtra Public Service Commission.
9.4 The price for Application Form along with Prospectus is Rs.100/.
9.5 The Application Form should be used at once and for one post only.
9.6 The Application form along with Prospectus is available only in the
selected Post Offices and no arrangement for the sale is made in
the office of the Maharashtra Public Service Commission. The
request for sending Application form by post will not be
entertained.
9.7 Candidates are advised to purchase the Application Forms along
with prospectus for “Direct Recruitment” only (In Red Colour) (not
for competitive examination) from designated post offices only.
9.8 In case of any difficulty about availability of Application Forms the
candidate should contact to the concerned Post Master or
Maharashtra Public Service Commission's Office on the
Telephone Numbers mentioned above in the heading of the
advertisement.
10. FEE :-

11.1 The filled up Application form alongwith required affidavit
and fee will be accepted only at any of the designated
Post Offices mentioned in the prospectus in their working
hours on or before 26th August, 2008.
11.2 Application form will not be accepted in the Office of the
Maharashtra Public Service Commission under any
circumstances or no enquiry in that behalf will be entertained.
