Though not many, I have examined sufficient number of female birth charts whom I know and are
beautiful and married. Astrologically, every Planet and house in a birth chart represents /indicates
some aspect of life and gives results as per it’s strength under given parameters. Ascendant or 1st
house represent appearance and personality , among many other significations. 7th house represents
spouse, marriage etc. No other house speaks about appearance and personality. Among the Planets
Venus ranks No 1 in indicating beauty. Jupiter indicates magnificent disposition or personality but not
beauty. Therefore Venus, ascendant and 7th house play a major role in appearance, beauty and
personality. Some Nakshatras also indicate the appearance and beauty of the native. These houses
and Planet would give full results only when they are in strength and are not afflicted. Surprisingly, I
found most of these attributes not present in those beautiful females whose charts I have seen. They
are married too i.e. they are beautiful wives. I am reproducing birth charts of two beautiful wives. No 1
is of Mrs Sridevi and No 2 is of Mrs Aishwarya Rai bachchan.

Here in Sridevi’s chart, Venus is Combust. Jupiter and Saturn are functional malefic planets. They both
are aspecting Venus and thereby afflicting Venus. Venus thus become weak/afflicted and therefore
would not give good results. For this ascendant Mars is the Yogakarka Planet and Venus or Jupiter is
not.

Chart No 2:-

Here in Aishwarya’s chart, Venus is on Rahu Ketu Axis, aspected by Saturn from 9th house. Jupiter is
debilitated. Sun is debilitated. Mars is strong as it is in it’s MTS. For this ascendant Saturn is the
Yogakarka Planet and not Venus or Jupiter.

These charts do not support the theory about Venus and 7th house in toto. I have been always of firm
opinion and belief that every aspect of life should be assessed or indicated not from a Planet and
house but after full birth chart analysis and also with consultation of the D-9 chart and other divisional
chart that is relevant or applicable.

Natives with Rohini Nakshatra are generally beautiful in looks. I have come across a combination
which says, Venus & Mars in sign of Venus or Mars of male native gets a beautiful wife. So do
husband of Aishwarya and Sridevi have this combination ? There is also a combination that says, if the
Lord of the ascendant is of female gender, ascendant sign is also a female gender and Moon too is in
female sign, such native woman is beautiful. I came across only one such birth chart in my
examination.

If one has to answer your question, most simply, the choice is Venus. Astrology as you may know is
not all that simple.

The rashi in which a planet sits, the aspects on the planet, it’s degrees, the nakshtra and it’s lord
determine the element for the planet and that house. There are various permutations and
combinations that form other elements, like a beautiful wife may be premiscous by nature or could be
ill mannered or unintelligent.

So never go by one planet or one house and instead study all aspects of the horoscope before arriving
at the conclusions.
