Reflection
(Minimum of 3-4 sentences per question)
1. Briefly describe the field experience. What did you learn about technology coaching and technology leadership from completing this field
experience?
On June 24-27, I attended the Model Schools Conference in Orlando, FL. I participated in many sessions and trainings in which instructors and technology
coaches taught educators how to integrate and implement more technology within their classrooms and schools. I was provided information on resources and
access to many different tools and websites that will help me transform my classroom into one that is extremely technology rich.

2. How did this learning relate to the knowledge (what must you know), skills (what must you be able to do) and dispositions (attitudes, beliefs,
enthusiasm) required of a technology facilitator or technology leader? (Refer to the standards you selected above. Use the language of the PSC
standards in your answer and reflect on all 3—knowledge, skills, and dispositions.)

Knowledge – This allowed me to see others who have facilitated and been instructors of technology for many years. They were extremely component and
knowledgeable about all aspects of technology integration.

Skills – Through this experience I learned that technology leaders and facilitators must have a plethora of knowledge, skills, and abilities to help teachers
and schools integrate technology. They must have a thorough knowledge of all the standards aligned in instructional technology to understand the specific
goals and needs of students, teachers, and schools as a whole.

Dispositions – I was able to witness so many positive attitudes and outlooks on technology integration. Many of these instructors told stories of all the hard
work and dedication it took to transform technology integration in schools. However, they were very encouraging and helpful in helping me realize that by
increasing my knowledge of technology use, I will have the ability to help my students, co-teachers, and school as a whole, transform to an environment that
is driven by its great technology integration.

3. Describe how this field experience impacted school improvement, faculty development or student learning at your school. How can the impact be
assessed?
This experience was so impactful for me personally. It made me aware that I can slowly progress into an instructional coach by simply developing my skills
and helping others. My school is only in the second year of implementing one on one technology. Therefore, as I grow as a result of taking various courses,
participating in field experiences, and implementing what I learn in my own classroom, this will help other teachers and faculty see the transformation in
order to adapt the skills of integrating more technology as well.
