COURSE DESCRIPTION
This course is designed to upgrade students’ knowledge and awareness on the different philosophers of education and the implications/uses of these philosophers in formulating
national goals and objectives, the mission, vision and goals of an educational institution as well as the teacher’s concepts and approaches towards the teaching process.

COURSE OBJECTIVES
After completing this course, the student must be able to:
1. Determine the importance of Philosophy of Education in the teaching and learning process.
2. Learn the different Philosophers and their philosophy and educational theory.
3. Know the different ways of Philosophy and educational theory in the teaching and learning process.
