I. Objectives: At the end of the subject matter the students are expected to:
a. Create a self pledge not to act impulsively that can cause complications to the
victim.
b. Identify and understand the methods on transporting the victim and techniques
on how to carry them.
c. Execute the following methods and techniques.
B. Lesson proper
- The teacher will discuss on the method and techniques on how to
transport and carry a victim in a safer place.
B1. Leg drag- This is a preffered method where there are no obviously leg
injuries.
B2. Arm drag-The first aider must be use this method when the victim has no
arm injuries.
B4. Blanket lift-This method is safe only if there are minimum of 6 persons
and a strong blanket to support the victims weight.
C. Presentation
- Did everyone understand the lesson?

V. Activity 1: (Perform the different kinds of victim

- The students will perform their activity in front.
- The teacher will grade each performance and then when all groups are
finished, their scores and feedbacks will be announced.

legs? –Leg drag

5-10. If you saw a person in an accident and he/she heavily injured what will
you do first? –If the person is conscious the best thing to do is ask
him/her what the most part of his/her body has severe pain, and
then if you located the part of his/her body that has injury apply the
drag and carry method and bring him/her to the nearest safe place.
VII. Generalization
-there are various of different kinds of techniques and methods on how to
carry and transport the victim to a safer place, like the leg drag, arm drag,
clothing drag, and the blanket drag. But we need to observe first the
situation and the injuries of the victim before taking an action or it can
make the situation worst if we move impulsively.
