    Overview
    The Alltrax AXE/SPM range offers a reliable easy to install single direction
    DC speed controllers. With inputs ranging from 12v to 72v and continuous
    output currents of up to 200A they are suitable for a wide range of applications
    including: golf cars, pumps, motorbikes, cars, boats and utility vehicles.

    • Operating Frequency 18kHz • Rugged construction
    • Operating Temperature -25C to 75C • Easy to program RS232/USB interface
    • Standby current (Powered up) <35mA • Available from 12 to 72V DC Bus
    • 24V Nominal input is 30V DC bus Max • Suitable for a wide range of throttles including;
    0-5K, 5K-0, 0-1K, 0-5V, 6-10V
    • 48V Nominal input is 60V DC bus max
    • 72V Nominal input is 90V DC bus max

    AXE Controller Model number Breakdown


    For example the AXE4834P is broken down as:
    • AXE - Family name
    • 48 - First two digits = Battery String Voltage (two digits)
    • xx3x - third digit = amperage, 3=300 Amp model
    • xxx4 - fourth digit = Case size small heat-sink
    • P model - denotes ‘Plug Break’
    • M model - denotes ‘Momentary’
    SMP Controller Model number Breakdown
    For example the SPM48300-EZ is broken down as:
    • SPM - Family name Series Permanent Magnet,
    SPB=Series Plug Brake
    • 48 - First two digits = Battery String Voltage
    (two or 3 digits) 48v, 72v, 156v, etc.
    • 300 - Last three digits = amperage, 300 Amp
    model, 650=650amps at 2minutes
    • EZ model - Denotes 5-pin EZ model with ITS
    (Also includes 4-spade terminals)
    • HD model - Denotes model with 14-pin sealed
    connector for heavy duty extreme application
