At the end of 60-minute period, students will be able to:

a. discuss the ingredients and procedure in making club sandwich

b. enumerate the things to consider in preparing club sandwich, and

c. relate the importance of knowing on how to make club sandwich.

5. ABSTRACTION

Ingredients:
12 slices of white bread
4 slices of cooked ham
250 grams bacon
4 slices of cheese
4 leaves lettuce
1 piece cucumber
1 piece tomato
Mayonnaise
16 pieces cocktail toothpicks
Mise en place
1. Wash and dry vegetables.
2. Cook bacon until crisp and drain in paper
towel.
3. Slice cucumber and tomato.
4. Remove the crust of the bread.
Procedure
1. Toast the bread.
2. Line 3 toasted bread side by side.
3. Spread mayonnaise on each bread.
4. On the first bread, put lettuce, ham, and
cheese.
5. on the second bread, put bacon,
cucumber and tomato.
6. Make a double decker.
7. Divide the sandwich into 4 parts.
8. Pin the sandwich with toothpicks in each
quarter. Using serrated knife, cut the
sandwich into triangles.
