Laying down of top drive

1) make sure there is enough drilling line on the drum to allow the
blocks to come to the floor
2) if work is to be done on the top drive the subs have to be removed
3) raise backup wrench to highest pos.
4) remove links and retract cylinders tie back cylinders
5) make sure all well control valves are in the open pos.
6) lock out top drive and remove electrical wires
7) disconnect turn buckles
8) install traveling pins
9) disconnect top drive from blocks
10) install lifting assembly and raise to hook pos. install safety pin
11) tie service loops in 3 places (as close to the track as possible )
on section one
12) extend the tensioning cylinders remove pins DO NOT
REMOVE CABLES AS THEY WILL WANT TO SPIN AND
COULD CAUSE INJURY
13) retract tensioning cylinders
14) disconnect air and hyd lines
15) have live roll ready to install under torque guide
16) disconnect safety lines and release dogs on harpoon
17) lower torque guild to live roll and connect
18) hook to truck and lower first section to truck
19) chain first section down and install rails
20) lower the rest of the top drive until last section is on floor
21) install safety line to prevent first section from sliding from floor
22) install safety pins
23) remove blocks and hook last section to crane
24) lay down last section
