    C5101-A MANUAL

    1. Introduction
    C5101-A is an item of digital engine controller, which is applied to monitoring of automobile
    engine. It is used to monitor the engine temperature and water temperature. Besides, it has
    audible and visible alarm against higher temperature.
    * Sensor P1 monitoring of engine temperature
    * Sensor P2 monitoring of water temperature
    * Buzzer alarm
    *Auxiliary alarm
    *Relay K1 for high temperature alarm output
    2. Working principle
    When the water temperature or engine temperature exceeds the preset alarm temperature,
    will be on and the buzzer will sound,K1 alarm output; when both the water temperature and engine temperature
    are lower than preset alarm temperature, the alarm will be removed，K1 alarm output enclosed. The auxiliary
    alarm is connected to the oil light wire, therefore, when the oil light is on, the buzzer will sound.
    On the display it will show the highest one, engine temperature or water temperature.
    3. Set temperature:
    Press SET button to adjust the set temperature, the adjustable temperature range is 1~125C
    (33~257F). 5 seconds after setting, it will return to the interface of temperature display and also
    store the set temperature.
    4. List of LED status

    ON The display temperature is the water temperature
    Flashing Water sensor error
    ON Overheating alarm
    S ON The status of temperature setting
    5.. INSTALLATION AND MOUNTING
    Instruments shall be mounted on vertical panel, in a 71x30 mm hole, and fixed using the special
    bracket supplied. To obtain an IP54 protection grade use the front panel rubber gasket as shown in
    fig.3.
    The temperature range allowed for correct operation is 0 ~60 °C. Avoid places subject to strong
    vibrations, corrosive gases, excessive dirt or humidity. The same recommendations apply to probes.
    Let air circulate by the cooling holes.
