Part 1 – Registration / Waiver:


1. Players sign in registration form at door.
2. Players select game they want to play - from picture list provided.
3. Players read and accomplish waiver (health concerns).
4. Players pay corresponding fee for game selected.
5. Players proceed to game area.

Part 2 - Operating VR game equipment - IT and Le Charme staff.


1. Computers & VR Equipment:
a. Turn on all pcs, 1 to 4.
b. Select PC 2 on HDMI/mouse switch.
c. Check if all VR equipment per computer is present: VR googles / head phones / 2
controllers and/or 1 gun-tracker and battery clip.
d. Make sure all VR equipment are properly connected.
e. Check base stations to ensure main led indicator light green with red led sensors lights,
channels set to B and C respectively.
f. Check 8 port network switch to ensure #1 to 4 leds are green.
g. Check if all gun batteries and controllers are properly charged.
2. Photon Control:
a. On pc-2 only, double click on Photon Control desktop icon.
b. Right click Photo Control icon in windows tray (lower right corner).
c. Select Load Balancing option.
d. Select Start as Application.

3. Steam VR:
a. Starting on pc-1 to pc-4, open Steam and then VR application.
b. Check per pc VR status - equipment icons should be green with message "Ready" also in
green.
c. Place all goggles and controllers to be utilized spaced on the play area floor.
d. Perform quick calibration under VR settings => developer => quick calibrate large room
for each pc.
e. If gun tracker or controllers are not green - need to "pair" devices. On PC, right click
none paired device - select pair device - on the trackers and controllers hold down
corresponding buttons until double beep.
Unicorn Games.
f. Starting on pc-1 to pc-4, open the selected game to be played - go to game folder and open
as admin.
g. On each pc 1 to 4, per pc, Alt Tab to desktop, look for file account_password.txt, open
file, copy user name and password paste to log in page of VRJump game.
h. After all players are properly in VR gear and position – on PC-2* press #7 button to start
game.
h. To start game press #7 when all players ready.
I. Upon completion of game, press #7 to return to starting position than press #7 button to
start game.

*which ever Photon App configured as server.

4. Assisting Players Before Game:


a. Explain game mechanics to players
b. Request for / ask players if they would like to take pics or video during game play.
c. Guide players to prescribed VR player positions, 1 to 4.
d. Inquire if player wants photo or video during game session (can be used to upload to
facebook).
e. Assist players to put on VR equipment, googles, head phones, gun and/or controllers.
f. Ask player if can see game in googles, hear sounds in head phones and see gun and/or
controllers in game.
h. Signal Admin that players ready and to start game.

5. In Game Assisting of Players:


a. Assign 1 staff to every 2 players per game session.
b. Staff to assist players during games session to ensure the following:
*. players do not hit other players.
*. players do not hit any walls.
*. players do not trip over any wires.
c. Monitor players until each game finished.
d. Assist each player to remove VR gear.
e. Request players to post photos on Facebook.
f. Request players to accomplish survey form (when applicable).

6. Game Completion:
a. Return VR gear to staging area.
b. Assist players to post on Le Charme Facebook and/or their own Facebook.
c. Check battery levels of all guns and/or controllers.

7. Cleaning of Equipment and VR Area:


a. Before and after VR operations, ensure of the following:.
i. All equipment is clean, wipe and brush equipment, including goggles.
ii. Both VR playing area and operation area is cleaned, free of garbage and organized.
iii. Remove any none VR authorized materials and/or items from VR area.

Part 3 – Trouble Shooting VR game equipment.


1. Common Problems:
a. VR equipment status “unresponsive”,

*. Reposition VR head gear in base sensor area.


*. Restart VR software.
*. Restart computer.

b. Launched game to be played stuck on loading screen.

*. Close game, try to restart direct for directory as admin – up to 3 times.


*. Restart VR software.
*. Access regedit.exe (ctrl+R), go to
(user)/HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\DefaultCompany\VR_Zombie

Find and delete entry: GameKey_*************


Restart game, up to 2 times.
*. Restart computer.

c. Games with gun controller in use, local mouse engaged – gun trigger unresponsive.

*. Restart game for the affected PC.


*. Restart VR software.

d. Avatar in incorrect position to high or below scaled flooring.

*. Turn off game, go to VR settings menu.


*. Select Room Scaling, follow procedure.

e. No sounds.
*. Turn off game, go to windows device manager.
*. Click on playback device – HTC Vibe.

f. Games with gun controller in use, trigger in game stuck on fire mode.

*. Restart game for the affected PC.


*. Restart VR software.

Part 4 – Maintenance VR game equipment.


1. Goggles, controllers, gun + tracker, headphones:
a. When not in use, all goggles, controllers, guns and headphones to be properly hung
on hooks provide per player assigned location.
b. Check all batteries, gun clip, trackers and controllers are charged between sessions.
c. Check all wires, for cuts, breaks and make sure not tangled.
d. Turn off all gun clips, controllers and trackers when not in use.

2. Computers:
a. Shut down computers when not in use.
b. Perform Defrag and CCleaner once a week.
c. Open up case, use blower and brush to remove dust once week or when needed.
d. Cover computers cases when not in use.
e. Unplug power cords when not in use.

3. Switches and Amplipher:


a. Shut down computers when not in use.
b. Open use blower and brush to remove dust once week or when needed.
c. Cover cases when not in use.
d. Unplug power cords when not in use.

3. Cleaning & Organizing area:


a. Before and after VR operations, perform the following for VR play and admin areas;
i. Sweep and/or vacuum floor.
ii. Whip down counters, glass windows and doors.
iii. Whip down VR equipment and computers.
iv. Remove any garbage and/or other items not related to VR Operations.

Part 5 – Auditing.
1. Daily Cash Turn Over:
a. End of day cash collection to be counter checked against daily registration form.
b. Operator on duty to sign daily registration form with total cash collection break down.
c. All cash collected and signed registration forms to be turned over to Le Charme F.O. for
over night safe keeping.
b. Operator to confirm turn over of previous night cash collection & registration form
from F.O. to Accounting following day.
