ENVIORNMENT, HEALTH AND SAFETY POLICY
Necessary “No objection” certificate (consent to operate) shall be obtained from the
State Pollution Control Board as per statute.
Adequate greenery shall be maintained within the factory premises and adequate
cleanliness shall be maintained on regular basis.
The pond situated inside the factory premises shall be cleaned at regular interval.
All backup power generating systems shall be fitted with adequate exhaust outlet as
per standard and exhaust fumes (flue gas) shall be checked at regular interval by
the appropriate authority (approved by the State Pollution Control Board).
Waste water and ambient air shall be checked at regular interval by the appropriate
authority (approved by the State Pollution Control Board).
All waste generated inside the production area shall be dumped in a designated
concrete pit and disposal shall be done through an appropriate authority (approved
by the State Pollution Control Board).
A complaint register shall be made available at the security office to lodge complaint
on any environmental hazards by any persons.
Adequate control and monitoring shall be done to reduce waste generation through
process improvement, recycling and reuse effort
Personal protective equipments like ear plug, hand gloves, safety goggles, safety
apron etc. shall be given to the personnel depending on the nature of activities.
ENVIORNMENT, HEALTH & SAFETY POLICY
Adequate fire fighting measures shall be taken by installing fire extinguishers and
the fire extinguishers shall be refilled periodically. Mock drills for firefighting
measures shall be taken up periodically and a register shall be maintained to monitor
this activity. All fire exits shall be marked with designated stickers.
All sanitary installations shall be cleaned on regular basis and a register shall be
maintained to monitor this activity. The sanitary installations shall be inspected by
the State Public Health Engineering Department periodically and necessary clearance
shall be obtained.
All drinking water storage tank shall be cleaned on regular basis and a register shall
be maintained to monitor this activity.
Safety training awareness shall be given to any new incumbent and periodic safety
training shall be given to all existing personnel. Effectiveness of training shall be
reviewed in subsequent training programme.
All major and minor accidents including first aid shall be recorded in the Safety
register, cause and effectiveness of corrective action shall be reviewed in the Safety
meeting as well as management review meeting

ORGANISATIONAL CODE OF CONDUCT
Employees should maintain information about clients, employees and information of a
business nature such as quotations from suppliers with strict confidence and will not
divulge to any third party under any circumstances. Misuse or waste of assets or
equipment, failure to service equipment as required, deliberate damage to organization’s
property and/or unauthorized use organization’s equipment should be treated under legal
issues.
Employees’ behaviour will be in such a manner that is appropriate when interacting with
clients, volunteers, the general public, and other staff and they should act in a manner
that meets the ethical standards of the profession and organization.
Using profane language, physical violence, threatening or abusive language, gender or
religious indiscrimination, racism to clients, the public, or employees should be treated as
criminal offence.
Employees shall immediately report any potential conflict of interest to their superior and
will be guided by the direction provided as to their continued involvement in the venture.
