    a. Draw neat sketches for TT, TN-S and TN-C-S Earthing systems
    and the faul-t current in a single-phase TT earthing
    arrangement for a line to ground fault. Explain the operation
    of Residual Current Circuit. Breaker (RCCB) . Explain why we
    have to use a RCCB with the TT system and ari Over-current
    device can be. used with TN-C-S system for earth fault
    protection.

    b. There is a three- phase motor load of 400V, 5kW with 0. B power


    factor connected in a system having the TN-C earthing
    arranqement. The load is supplied through a transformer
    having an impedance of 0.01 Ohms/phase and the Ioad is
    connected to the system by a 30m long having an impedance of
    0.025 ohms/m. Neutral line has the same impedance as the phase
    I ine

    Draw the earthing arrangement indicating fault


    current flow for a line to ground fault.
    2. Calculate the load current and select a rating and
    type of an MCB.
    3. Calculate the fault current at the load and explain
    how earth fault protection is given by the MCB
    selected.
