In many parts of the world, work has changed drastically. It is notable that a dramatic number of
citizens are shifting their careers. This trend can be attributed to a host of factors and in my opinion,
some advantageous that this phenomenon may offer can be eclipsed by the more significant
disadvantageous.

On the one hand, the idea of having a career switch is justifiable. The key rationale in favor of this
view is people think that they can capitalize on those new opportunities in various working
environments. As well as this, employees, especially after gaining more experience, tending to
change their job for higher salary package. Start-up model is a case in point. Youngster who have just
graduated, finding it is easy to get a job in this type of business. But after a few years, when the stuff
becomes boring, they are likely to seek another job which pay much more money.

Instead of aforementioned reasons, I believe this trend would bring more drawbacks to individuals
and society as well. That the job market is becoming more and more competitive, people who
usually shift their career do not have deep knowledge of a particular occupation, may have difficulty
in climbing the ladder of organizational positions. In addition, society will also lack experts in fields
and waste a copious amount of money for recruitment process.

In conclusion, the popularity of job-hop can be ascribed to various factors, I am of the opinion that
pursuing a career is an infinitely better way to your advancement.
An increasing number of people are choosing to change careers during their working lives, and some
even do so more than once.

People change careers for various reasons. Two important factors that influence workers to
change careers are unhappiness, or that their circumstances have changed. Regardless of the
reasons why people change careers, the fact that they do is a positive step for society.

Career dissatisfaction has many causes. For example, when initially choosing a career, people may
make poorly informed choices, so the reality does not meet their expectations and they become
disillusioned. Similarly, stress plays a big part in career change. There are many examples of
professionals who choose to quit a stressful environment to preserve their mental and physical
health. They prefer to work in a job that pays less but is less stressful.

Some workers change occupations because their circumstances have changed. Moving from being
single to having a family can trigger career change. For example, if the career previously necessitated
travel, perhaps this option is now no longer viable. In addition, a family can bring with it the need to
earn more money, so some search for careers with better financial prospects.

This trend of career change is a positive development for society. Not only do workers who change
careers bring new skills to the workplace, they also add another dimension to industry by drawing on
their previous experience. Also, people moving jobs to improve their long-term job satisfaction in
turn benefit their new organisations with their positive motivation. This results in less absenteeism
and grievances for the organisation.

In conclusion, while workers have diverse reasons for changing careers, the result is positive one
for individuals, organisations and society as a whole.
