    1. Visuallycheckfor damageand replaceif

    pryingthe RetainerClip out of the connectorwithi
    oicktool.

    Canister Close Valve 4. Disconnectthe CanisterCloseValvelrom the wire
    hamessconnector.
    Removal
    1. Remove
    the Canister
    CloseValvehose.

    lnspection
    1. MeasureCanisterCloseValveresistance.
    2. Removethe CanisterCloseValvemountinobracket
    bolts. Resistance:
    Approximately25 O at 68"F(20'C)
    2. lf notas specified,replacethe CanisterClose
    Valve.

    5. Connectthe IATsensor.

    Removal
    1. Disconnectthe IATsensorc€nnector
    by pryingthe retainerclip-out of the connectorwith
    a picktool.
    2. Removethe IATsensorfromair cleanerassembly.

    lnstallation
    1. Installa newwasherand the intakeair temperature
    sensorlo air cleanerassembly.
    2. Connectthe intakeair temperat!{re
    connector,

    Installation
    1. Connectthe CanisterCloseValveConnector.
    2- Reinstallthe RetainerClip.
    3. Beinstallthe CanisterCloseValvemountingbracket
    bolts.
    4. Reinstallthe CanisterCloseValvehose.

    1. Disconnectthe massair llow sensor@nnector.
    2. Loosenair inlakehose retainingdampson both
    IntakeAir Temperature
    Sensor sidesof the massair flow sensor.
    Inspection 3. Disconnectthe air intakehosefromthe massair
    flow sensor.
    1. Turnthe ignitionswitchOFF.
    4. Removethe two boltsattachingthe massair flow
    2. DisconnectIATsensorconnector. sensorto the mountingbracket.
