    The Barayong Elementary School conducted its first General Parents and Teachers Association (GPTA) Assembly and State of the School Address (SOSA) on June 11, 2019. Around 80% of parents attended the event. The school principal, Emily Ruivivar, delivered the SOSA where she discussed the declining enrollment, full liquidation of funding, awards received by the school and students, academic performance of students, and safety reminders. She also noted students who were not officially enrolled. Following the SOSA, the GPTA president and treasurer delivered the financial report. The assembly ended and parents proceeded to their child's homeroom for PTA meetings.

    NARRATIVE REPORT ON THE FIRST, GPTA ASSEMBLY AND STATE OF THE SCHOOL
    ADDRESS (SOSA)

    Barayong Elementary School conducted its First General. Parents and Teachers
    association (GPTA) Assembly and State of the School Address (SOSA) held on June 11,
    2019, 2:00 pm at Barayong Elementary School Covered Court, Barayong, Ligao City. More
    or less 80% of parents were present and participated on the said activity for the purpose of
    orientation, information and other reports for the pasts school years to the present.
    The activity was stated with a prayer by Ms, Susan Mendoza followed by an opening
    remarks by Mrs. Salve Polo.
    Mrs. Emily Ruivivar the school Principal, delivered the state of the School Address
    (SOSA). She discussed the declining of the Total enrolment from school years 2016 to 2019
    due to possible reasons of transferred out pupils. The funding source from MOOE was 100%
    liquidated. The school Awards and Recognition- Division Champion 2018 Nestle Wellness
    Best Implementing School, Most Outstanding I Gulayan sa Paaralan, 2nd Place in Brigada
    Eskwela and Consolation Prize in the street Presentation. Two pupils won in the Regional
    Conference. She mentioned about the no Drop-out rate and 98% promotion rate, and the
    teacher-pupil ratio per class. She reported the activities conducted in school such as:
    cluster meet mass demo, main street and family day. She mentions personal pupil’s safety
    and invited parents to attend first Friday mass in school every afternoon. She reminded
    the 22 pupils without cards as no officially enrolled. The PTA fees SY. 2018-2019, T-shirts
    for printing, using of ID. The Home Room PTA Officers to be elected are the parent not a
    guardian without legal documents.
    Then it was followed by financial report of the GPTA president and treasurer. The
    activity ended at 3pm. The parents proceed respected classroom for d to their Home Room
    PTA meetings.
