Content Standard:
and utilize energy.
The learners shall be able to make a poster that shows the complementary relationship of
Performance Standard:
photosynthesis and cellular respiration.

At the end of the session, the students will be able to:
Competency:
-Explain how cells carry out functions required for life.
K -Explain how photosynthetic organisms use light energy to combine carbon dioxide and water
to form energy-rich compounds.
-Trace the energy flow from the environment to the cells.
S
-Describe how organisms obtain and utilize energy.

of financial and other accounting reports.
 Discuss the nature of accounting
 Discuss the function of accounting in business
 Discuss the history of accounting
Group Activity: (10 mins)

Divide the class into 2 groups. The first group will act out the definition of accounting
while the second group will act out the evolution/history of accounting.

Presentation- 15 points (clarity/ delivery of the presentation)
Creativity - 10 points (uniqueness of the presentation)
Collaboration - 05 points (equal distribution of task among members)
TOTAL 30 points

IV. ASSESSMENT Give a short quiz. Ask the following questions: (10 points)
1. Define accounting.
2. Give at least 5 examples of decisions or questions that can be supported by accounting
information.
