Introduction

Thank you for investing in our latest traffic generation and linking tool,
Digi Traffic Accelerator. If you’ve bought previous Digi products from us,
I’m confident that you won’t be disappointed by the Traffic Accelerator,
whereas if you’re new to our products, ‘Welcome on board’.
The logic behind every Digi product that we’ve created so far has never
altered, and this product is no exception to this guiding principle. We
understand that you run an online business and that the key to running
your business as successfully as possible is to drive targeted visitors to
your site or blog before converting them into paying customers.
In Britain, we often use the expression that something ‘does exactly
what it says on the tin’, meaning that the product in question performs
precisely as you’d expect it to do based on it’s name.
Digi Traffic Accelerator is a perfect case in point as it does indeed do
what it says on the tin (can) – it increases the number of targeted
visitors who are driven to your site by ‘planting’ hundreds of bookmarks
all over the net. Hence, it will put more money in your pocket as long as
your site converts your traffic into customers.
If you’re familiar with the Digi product range, you’ll find that the
Accelerator is a slight departure from what is the norm for our team in
that it’s not a WordPress plugin or theme.
Instead, it’s a standalone Windows desktop application that drives
traffic to any type of site or blog irrespective of how that site is built or
what site building tool or system you used to create it.
In short, Digi Traffic Accelerator works for any type of website or online
resource that you want to create links for. It doesn’t matter whether it’s
been built in the ‘old fashioned’ way with HTML or a Content
Management System such as Joomla, Drupal and of course, WordPress
itself, it’s still good for generating links.
It’ll even work with a ‘hosted’ site that is built using a ‘free hosting
resource’ like Blogger or WordPress.com or any of the more popular
mini-site building resources such as Squidoo, HubPages, Posterous or
Tumblr.
Using these effectively and profitably is something I’ll explain in more
detail later. For now, all you need to know is the fact that Digi Traffic
Accelerator can create links wherever you want them to be!
Installation

As it is a stand alone desktop application, installing Digi Traffic

Accelerator is incredibly simple and straightforward.
To begin with, download the zip file from the Digi Accelerator site to
your computer, remembering where you put the file! ()
Next, unzip it. If you don’t already have an unzip utility on your
machine, 7-Zip does the job on any Windows machine perfectly and it’s
free. I’m going to use WinRAR to extract the folder, but you can use
whatever tool is available as the end result is going to be the same:

Accelerator.application” and “setup.exe”. Don’ t worry about
the .application file, it’s the set up file (setup.exe) which you need:

The Application file is necessary for the application to run but you don’t
need to touch it, so it’s fine if you can’t see it. Just double click the
setup.exe link and it’ll install, dropping a link in the ‘Programs’ section
of your ‘Start’ menu.
As it does so, the first thing that happens is the app is verified:
After this disappears, you’re asked whether you want to install the
script. This may suggest that the app is from an untrusted source above
the ‘Install’ buttons:

You may see this warning or you may not. Either way, there’s nothing to
worry about. Continue the process by hitting the ‘Install’ button.
If this is the very first time of using Digi Traffic Accelerator (which I’ll
assume it is as you’re in the process of installing it!), you’ll need to
enter the licence key code that was been delivered to you by e-mail to
make it work. The code looks something like DR-XXXXX or
IXXXXXXXXXXXX:

After adding the code, you’ll be invited to download this manual or you
can follow the links to watch the videos that explain the same stuff.
Access either if you need to or click the ‘Continue’ button if you don’t:

All being well, the application is now installed and ready to go, although
your machine may need a reboot. If so, get it out of the way now.
Okay, so with these few minor tasks dealt with, you should see your
‘DigiResult’ link in the ‘Program’ list.
The appearance and the exact way that this works will depend on what
version of Windows you use, but this is the XP Professional ‘view’:

Let’s move on to getting it set up to run for the very first time.
Incidentally, every time you run the app, it automatically runs an
update check. You don’t have to do anything but be aware that it will
happen.

Norton Anti-Virus
If you don’t use Norton Anti-Virus you can feel free to skip this page.
If you do use Norton then you may find it conflicts with Digi Traffic
Accelerator. Don’t worry, it’s really easy to fix. Just follow these steps.

The first thing is to check that Norton's virus definitions are up-to-date:

- Right click the Norton icon in the System tray

- Choose 'Run LiveUpdate'
- If it asks you reboot do so and repeat the above steps until you have
the latest protection updates.

If Norton's SONAR still quarantines Digi Traffic Accelerator please follow

these instructions to remove and exclude it from the quarantine:

If you still can't get DTA running please send us the Norton activity log:

- Right click the Norton icon in the System tray

- Choose 'View Recent History'
- Click Export in the black bar at the bottom.
- Hit Save and then email us the resulting Recent History.mcf file (by
default it gets saved into My Documents) to

Completing the initial setup

Entering some proxies

After you click the ‘Continue’ button mentioned at the end of the
previous chapter, Digi Traffic Accelerator opens on the ‘Add Proxies’
screen that looks like this:

As this is your first time using the Accelerator app, there are no existing
proxies shown in the box at the bottom. Thus, if you want to use proxy
servers, you’ll need to add them.
In case you are unfamiliar with proxies and what they do, they ‘mask’
the information that is collected about your computer when you use the
net, disguising your online identity in this particular case.
This could be important because you don’t want the search engines to
recognize that a mass of activity is being funneled through a single IP
address, hence you might use proxies to mask your activity.
Now, whether you need to use proxies or not varies case by case,
although the general rule is that if you are going to be a heavy Digi
Traffic Accelerator user, you would probably be best served using
proxies. If on the other hand you are using the app to post just one or
two bookmarks a day, using proxies is probably not necessary.
If you are going to use proxy servers, a Google search for ‘free proxy
servers’ will probably turn up hundreds of them. Unfortunately however,
a lot of free proxies are likely to be a waste of time as we’ve found that
the majority are ‘blocked’ in one way or another.

There is no reason why you cannot try free proxies. However, be aware
when doing so that you will get far less positive results, with perhaps
1/3 of the links that you would get by paying for better quality proxies.
For this reason, you should consider subscribing to a proxy service like
Proxy Bonanza or Squid Proxies as both seem to have access to the
kind of proxies you should use if you want the best results.
If you are adding them to the app, you should test whether the proxies
that you plan to use work. To do so, paste them into the ‘Proxy
Settings’ box before clicking the ‘Add and Check Proxies’ box as I’ve
indicated here:

This will show you how many on your list are active and how many are
not.

How many proxies should I use?

Most users will be fine without proxies. DTA will happily bookmark two
pages a day without the need for proxies and achieve a very high stick
rate. Since it takes about half an hour to do a full bookmarking run.
That’s about an hour’s DTA usage a day and is more than sufficient for
most people needs.
For power users that want to bookmark more pages faster, we
recommend one dedicated proxy for every two bookmarks per day to
achieve the best stick rate on the social bookmarking sites.

What if my proxies require authentication?
To use authenticated proxies in Digi Traffic Accelerator you need to
enter them in one of these two common formats:
user:pass@host:port
host:port:user:pass

You should also check that the proxies that you are using are private
and not just a bunch of transparent proxies that whoever you’ve bought
them have rounded up.
Incidentally, whether the proxies you use are active or not often
changes minute to minute – when they switch their server off, it’s no
longer active – so you can never rely on them 100%.
The flipside however is the fact that the random nature of proxy
connectivity is one of the attractions of using them because it means
that you very rarely log in from the same proxy IP address twice.
Here’s how my checked list looks right at this minute:

I’d leave the one inactive link as it is – it could be active in just a few
seconds – ‘Save’ the links (at the bottom right) and move on. You’d do
the same if you’re not adding proxies too – just click the ‘Save’ link to
confirm the fact, and move on.
Any time you want to make changes – updating the proxy list that you
use on a regular basis is a very sound move – just click the ‘Settings’
link at the top left of the app panel from where you alter both the
‘Proxy’ and ‘Captcha’ parameters:

Even though Digi Traffic Accelerator indicates whether the proxies
you’ve added are ‘active’ or not, this does not mean that they will work
well (if at all).
Whilst they are active at the server end of the chain, many are blocked
further along the line. This is one reason why using a collection of free
proxies might therefore produce disappointing results.
Hence, you might be better served using a paid proxy server service
like the ones I mentioned earlier. You’d need to investigate these
services for yourself as we’ve not used them but I know that the two
highlighted previously are popular in the online marketing community.
Using a Virtual Private Network like the one provided by HideMyAss! is
another effective way of ‘masking’ your IP information. In this case,
turn the VPN on and run the Accelerator without adding proxies.
Your ‘Captcha’ settings
The second element of this initial set up that needs your attention is
getting the ‘Captcha Service’ settings established.
After you’re done with the proxies element of the set up process –
whether you’ve added any or not - you should be presented with this
‘Captcha’ panel immediately after clicking the proxy ‘Save’ button:

As you can see from the screenshot, you are presented several options
here. Let me explain what is going on here so that you understand your
options.
The idea of Digi Traffic Accelerator is that it posts details of your content
hundreds of social bookmarking sites. Most of these social sites ask you
to type in a ‘Captcha’ code that they give you to demonstrate that you
are not a spam bot.

As suggested, there are hundreds of social sites that the Accelerator
posts to so there are hundreds of ‘Captcha’ requests too.
If you leave the default ‘Manual’ setting as you see in the previous
screenshot, then you are effectively electing to add each ‘Captcha’ code
yourself. This could be extremely tedious, and a total waste of your time
which is why we’ve added three ‘automatic’ captcha solving services in
the application coding.
In the screenshot above, you can see that ‘Death By Captcha’,
‘Decaptcher’ and ‘Bypass Captcha’ are already integrated with the app.
The first claims to be the cheapest captcha solving service on the net,
charging just US$1.39 per 1000 solved captchas, and stats on the site
that are updated every minute suggest that they are currently enjoying
a success rate of more than 95%:

Decaptcher charges $2 for 1000 accurate captcha codes solved, whilst

Bypass Captcha feature 20,000 credits as their ‘best’ deal at $130 (i.e.
$6.50 per 1000 successful solutions) and have been around since 2008
and seem to offer a very reliable service 24/7/365.
It’s up to you which one you choose – indeed, it’s your decision whether
you use any of them but if I were you, I’d definitely give one of these
services a try. It will save you an unbelievable amount of time, work
and boredom!
If you’ve ever sat there inputting almost illegible captcha codes for
hours on end, you’ll know just how frustrating and mind-numbingly dull
it is! It’s definitely not something that’s fulfilling, worthwhile or fun and
there are a million better ways to spend your time!
Even if you start to do this job manually and (very quickly) realize that
it’s destroying your brain cells one by one, all is not lost.
Sign up for any decaptcha service, select the service which you’ve just
subscribed to. Add your account details to the app to enable it to make
the connection. Then close and restart the app.

When you restart, it should make the connection with your chosen
decaptcha account and continue where it left off without causing you
any more neural damage than you’ve already suffered.
But as stated above, you don’t have to spend extra money if you don’t
want to. To use another common British saying, ‘you pays your money,
you takes your choice!’
Decaptcher Priority
Decaptcher supports "priority captcha breaking". That means you can
pay a little bit more and get your captchas broken ahead of everyone
else's.
The best part is that hardly anyone knows about it so if you're willing to
pay $2.05 per 1,000 captchas instead of $2.00 you can get much better
service for basically no more money.
To turn this on -
- Log in to your Decaptcher.com account
- Go to the priority link (top right)
- In the priority modifier box enter 0.05
- Click "Add priority modifier"
and you'll get a much smoother experience using Decaptcher.

How many credits will it use?

We know that websites are often unreliable, so we've built in over 1500
sites into Digi Traffic Accelerator's database to make sure it can create
enough accounts to give you 500 backlinks each time you post a
bookmark.
DTA has to solve a captcha for you whenever it creates a new account
or posts a bookmarks, so you should expect to see it use up to 2000
credits each time you create accounts and up to 1000 credits each time
you post bookmarks.
But don’t worry: If signup or submission fails because the captcha
answer was wrong DTA will report the incorrect answer to your captcha
breaking service and then try again, so you aren’t wasting credits.

Creating Accounts

Whether you’ve added proxies or not, you are now ready to start adding
a batch of bookmarking accounts that Digi Traffic Accelerator will
automatically create for you:

To begin, click the ‘Generate’ button which appears below the ‘Captcha
Breaker Settings’ panel in the screenshot above. When you do, the app
automatically creates a fictitious persona for you, together with an
address and a date of birth.
Now you should create a new Gmail or Yahoo! e-mail account so that
you can add the details on the right side of the page:

You need a new e-mail address for every ‘batch’ of new bookmarking
accounts that you create. I’d recommend creating a spread sheet to
keep the details of each new account safe and secure.
In effect, the app is going to generate a tranche of new bookmarking
accounts for every new e-mail account you create, so there will be more
than 500 accounts attached to every newly created e-mail address.
Now, hit the ‘Create Accounts’ button on the left of the page and that’s
exactly what it’ll do, create hundreds of bookmarking accounts for you

all over the net using the credentials and e-mail address that you just
added.
There are hundreds of bookmarking services that the app works
successfully with, and we’ll be adding more as and when we find and
test them.
Thus, your ability to create a tidal wave of bookmarks with Digi Traffic
Accelerator will expand over time.
And of course, you can create as many different personas and accounts
as you want with new proxies each and every day. The extent and depth
of the link network that you can generate is therefore literally endless!
Incidentally, if you have many e-mail accounts and fictitious personas,
the app will randomly select one every time you create a new
bookmark. In combination with a regularly changing range of proxy
servers, this makes the links you embed virtually untraceable.
There are a couple of more things to be aware of before we move on.
Some of the social sites need e-mail confirmation but Digi Traffic
Accelerator is set to deal with these requests on your behalf
automatically.
This should work with any IMAP e-mail service but the two that we’ve
found to be the best are Gmail and Yahoo! mail.

What is IMAP?
IMAP is a way of accessing your email inbox.

If you are using a Yahoo! Mail or Gmail account you just need to enter
your email address and your password — the rest will be filled in
automatically.

If you are using another email account then your email provider will
give you instructions on what settings to use for the server and
username.

I’d therefore recommend using one of these when setting up your

bookmarking campaign. I’d also suggest that for best results, wait 20 to
30 minutes after the run for email confirmation to finish.
Secondly, some social sites only accept one post per day.

If therefore you want to post a multitude of links on a daily basis, you’ll
need to create several sets of accounts or you’ll find that you get less
links from every post after the first one.

Do I have to create new accounts every time I post a bookmark?

Definitely not! Whenever you create accounts Digi Traffic Accelerator
will save them in its database. When you close the app and reopen it, it
will still have those accounts in its database. You can just go ahead and
post a new bookmark without having to create more accounts first.
If you’re only posting 1–2 bookmarks each day, you should be able to
use the same accounts for at least a couple of weeks. When you notice
the number of backlinks DTA gives you starting to drop off, it's probably
time to create another set of accounts.
If you’re posting lots of bookmarks each day then you’ll need to create
more accounts to start with. We suggest one set of accounts for every 2
bookmarks you’ll post each day.

Adding your bookmark details

So far, you’ve set the application up and you’ve created your first new
bookmarking account. You’re therefore ready to start posting some
bookmarks to begin the incoming link generation process.
To start, click the ‘Post Bookmarks’ link at the top of the page.
Having done so, add the URL of the web page or resource that you want
to drive links and ultimately traffic to at the top:

Below this, add the title of the link that you want to bookmark.
When doing so, I’d recommend using the keyword that you’d like to be
linked which in the fictitious example shown above is a Squidoo ‘lens’
about the new Ghost Recon video game, Future Soldier.
You can ‘spin’ both the title and the body text description of the
bookmark that you publish. Lets consider what this means in pactice.
In my example, I’ve created a Squidoo lens focused on the game and
I’ve called it Ghost Recon Future Soldier Today (as the game title was
already taken) whilst the URL contains the same term.
Now, my main keyword here is the game name – imagine that I’m
promoting it as an Amazon affiliate for example – so this name is the
main term that I want to feature as my link, especially in the title.
The danger here is that if I use only the game name as my anchor text
keyword term, it means that exactly the same link term appears on
hundreds of social sites.
From one perspective, this is good as it is the main key term that I’m
targeting.

It’s bad however because the fact that it is exactly the same anchor text
every time makes it appear very unnatural to the search engines, which
might lead them to discount the value of these links or ignore them all
together.
You can overcome this potential problem by varying the anchor text link
whilst still ensuring that it contains your keyword. Here is one way of
doing so.
The spin syntax used by Digi Traffic Accelerator relies on the use of
‘curly’ brackets to wrap the spinnable text section plus ‘pipes’ to
separate the various alternative spin terms.
I’d therefore use something like this as my spinnable title:
“Ghost Recon Future Soldier {|Now|Today|For You|Review|Expert}”
Note that at the very beginning of the term, there is a pipe just inside
the first curly bracket with nothing in front of it (highlighted). This
ensures that sometimes the name of the game appears in isolation
whilst at other times, it’s is suffixed with ‘Today’, ‘Now’, Expert’ etc.
Thus, the anchor text in the title is changed without losing the keyword
term in the process. By clicking the ‘Random Spin’ button at the top
left, you can see this ‘in action’:

Variation one above is changed to version two with a click of the button,
thus ensuring that many different versions of my bookmark title is
posted:

Does DTA support nested spinning?
Yes! DTA supports nested spinning as deep as you like. So you can spin
individual words, sentences, paragraphs or event the whole article.
And, best of all, you can combine these to produce truly unique content
for every submission.
For example -
{You now {understand|get} nested spinning|I've now {explained|
outlined} nested spinning to you}.
Will produce 4 different output sentences -
1. You now understand nested spinning.
2. You now get nested spinning.
3. I've now explained nested spinning to you.
4. I've now outlined nested spinning to you.

Now it’s just a question of selecting the most appropriate category for
the content that you are posting. Because Digi Traffic Accelerator will
submit your bookmark to hundreds of sites we've kept the list of
categories very general so that we can try to find a good match on each
site.
Once you’ve chosen that, all that’s left is to hit the big button at the
bottom of the page to start posting your bookmarks to hundreds of sites

The app now goes out and starts posting bookmarks to all of the
bookmarking accounts that are coded into the app, with successful
submissions recorded in the app ‘History’ accessible from the tab shown
here:

The order that these ‘historical’ back links appear in is sorted by page
rank, with the highest page rank links at the top of the list.
This is important because the bookmarks with the highest page rank
are the highest quality authority links that you should be pointing a
further tranche of incoming links at.
It is by creating exactly such a ‘multi layered’ linking ‘blanket’ with your
main money maker at the epicentre that is ultimately the real strength
of this system.
To see the backlinks created for one of your pages choose the URL that
you bookmarked and you’ll see a big text box with all the backlinks:
To copy out the backlinks for use in another program, just right click
anywhere on the list of URLs and choose ‘Select All’ from the menu:
Now you can copy them to your clipboard and paste them to wherever
you need.

Other factors to consider

• As suggested earlier in this report, you can create bookmark links

to any URL you want to link to including your own sites, mini-sites
like Squidoo lenses and Hubs, video sites etc.
• Some sites are not however as popular as the others, so the
number of bookmarks that you’ll ultimately have accepted will
vary on a case by case basis. For example, many sites reject
YouTube links so you’ll get less links from a YouTube focused
campaign.
• The same applies if a specific URL has already been bookmarked,
as it can only be bookmarked once. New sites to which it hasn’t
been bookmarked previously will accept it whilst those that
already have the link won’t.
• Similarly, more obvious ‘no-no’s’ such as sex sites are going to be
less acceptable. As every site has the right to refuse to accept
your bookmark, you should expect varying degrees of success
with different campaigns.
• Note that in all these scenarios, it is not Digi Traffic Accelerator
that is filtering your submissions as the app has no internal filters
at all.
• Even so, accept that sometimes, ‘filtering’ happens!
• If you have a ‘firewall’ or antivirus software installed to protect
your computer, you may find that it interferes with or hinders the
initial installation process.
• It’s hard to know exactly how or when this type of problem may
occur because such problems are directly related to your personal
settings and the other software that you have installed, but the
fact is, it could happen. Please see whether temporarily disabling
the firewall or virus software fixes the problem as a first step.

A practical but simple ‘first step’ plan

Digi Traffic Accelerator is a very powerful mass link creation tool. As

links are directly related to visitor numbers, it therefore has the power
to drive masses of targeted traffic to your site.
Google knows that smart marketers spend time generating links
through their own efforts and within reason, they accept this as part
and parcel of marketing.
To get the most out of a tool like Digi Traffic Accelerator, it is therefore
necessary to use it in a sensible way that complies with what Google
are looking for as far as we understand what they want.
The temptation when creating incoming links – especially for someone
who is a little less experienced – is to aim all of those links at the main
money making page of your site, and to generate them at lightning
speed.
This is a mistake because Google want to see a natural link network
building up around your site, and all links pointing in one direction does
not fit this picture.
Instead, you should be aiming for variation and diversity.
For example, aim some of your links at internal pages of your site when
you can match your keyword terms to those pages. These internal
pages should be linked to your home page as an integral part of your
internal linking structure anyway, so there is little lost by doing this but
a great deal of credibility gained.
Similarly, I also mentioned mini-site builders like Squidoo, HubPages,
Posterous and Tumblr earlier in the report, and these resources can be
used in exactly the same way.
Go to each and sign up for a free account. Create a mini-site using your
main keyword (or one of them) as your site name. Populate it with
quality content and point links from each at your main site, both at your
homepage and relevant internal pages.
Now use Digi Traffic Accelerator to build links to these ‘secondary’
supporting resources instead of sending all the links to your main site.
Sites like Squidoo and HubPages are search engine favourites that are
‘spidered’ dozens of times every day.

Hence, the links that come into them are picked up by Google and the
other engines, and some of the ‘link juice’ attached to these links
passes through to your site.
Link to these mini-sites from some of your directory published articles
and YouTube videos as well, but do so in a random fashion.
Use Digi Traffic Accelerator to link to these resources from time to time
as well. Again, it looks natural, which is exactly how it should be.

Conclusion

Now you know how to install and use Digi Traffic Accelerator, it’s time to
get the ball rolling.
This app really is capable of generating thousands of incoming links
from bookmarking sites to your site and supporting resources, and
these links will ultimately make a huge difference to the search engine
popularity of your site or blog.
