To create the “library-style” pocket, cut along the sold lines, and fold
along the dashed lines. Apply glue to the small tabs and secure.

Cut out each of the three
circles along the solid lines.
Then layer them from largest
to smallest. Line them up so
that the top center of each
circle touches. (See the
diagram at the bottom of the
page.)

Punch a hole through all three

circles at the top and insert a
brad. (If you do not have a
brad and hole puncher, you
can staple them, but they will
not move as effectively.)

This mini book is perfect for

making text connections or for
comparing two concepts. You
could also use it for a short
writing passage and
illustration.

Your finished circle book

should look like this
diagram when finished.

Carefully cut out the book, following the solid lines. Fold the outer sections in, using the dotted lines as a
guide. If folded correctly, the tabs should interlock. Glue the back of the interlocking book into your
lapbook. This piece is perfect for storing illustrations or diagrams on any topic of your choosing.

Cut along the solid lines and fold along the
dashed lines. (The small bottom flap folds up
over the three top flaps.) Then, glue the back of
the piece into your lapbook. These flaps work
well for recording vocabulary, sequencing
events, or summarizing a story.

Choose ONE of the above foldable pieces for your lapbook. Cut
along the solid lines, then fold it in half along the dotted line. (If
desired, you may cut out extra pages and staple them inside to
make a booklet.) Glue the back of the piece into your lapbook,
and use it to record small amounts of information on any topic!
