We would like to remind the students to refrain from standing and set your phones to
silent mode for we are about to start the program in few minutes.
France: Colegio de Dagupan is an institution where real personal growth and development
commence and prosper. It is where dreams are mold and pathways to success are taken.
Today, as we gather here for our first general assembly, we will show you that you won’t
regret choosing CdD; you won’t regret belonging in the School of Business and
Accountancy. We would like to formally welcome each and every one of you to the true
home of topnotchers!
Rose: To our witty, sublime and energetic AVP Finance and Research chuchu, Sir Jann
Alfred Quinto;
France: To our supportive and most handsome dean, Sir Daniel Gonzales;
Rose: To our competent, enthusiastic and good-looking faculty members;
France: To our dear students;
BOTH: Ladies and gentlemen, good afternoon.
Rose: I am Rosemarie Abrigo

France: And I am Frances Marella Cristobal
BOTH: Your masters of ceremony.
France: To ask for guidance from the Almighty, let’s start our program with a prayer to be
led by Wilmarie Jem Camacho, and followed by the recitation of Colegio de Dagupan’s
Philosophy, Vision, Mission & Objectives to be led by Bianca Criselle Fernandez. So, may we
request everyone to please rise.

Rose: Please take your seats. Again, we would like to welcome you to our first General
Assembly for the S.Y. 2019-2020.
France: You know, it’s so nice to see every one of them in such a good mood today. Now,
what would make their moods even better is to give them words to feed their minds and
souls and get themselves energized with our event this afternoon.
Rose: So may we have on stage, the ever enthusiastic Sir Jann Alfred Quinto… <insert
expounded introduction> Let’s give him a warm round of applause.

Rose: Thank you so much, Sir Jann Jann for that….
France: Okay, we are already geared up for our event today. So, to formally start this
program, let us all welcome, the man who has an amiable disposition, an enchanting smile,
an irresistible charm, an incomparable wit and considered as one of the most treasured
asset of CdD. Let’s give it up for Dean Daniel Gonzales, CPA, MDM who will give us some
encouraging words. Soon after, he will also introduce to us the faculty members of the SBA
Family who will guide us along our journey in becoming CPAs and entrepreneurs.
*Words of wisdom*

France: Thank you so much, Dean Daniel Gonzales and faculty members, sir Aldrin
Calimlim and miss Regine Racca.
France: Okay, mukhang inaantok na ang ating mga students ah?

Rose: Yeah and hindi naman natin pwedeng hayaan na maging bored and sleepy ang ating
mga students while ongoing ang program.
France: Of course. And you know what partner? The students of SBA aren’t just smart. We
don’t stick our face to the pages of the book and read all day long. We are also talented and
active when it comes to non-academic activities. Do you agree?
Rose: NO. Char hahaha. Well, syempre they are accountancy students, they’ve mastered
skepticism haha.
France: Well, they have to believe me because I have a proof. Do you want to see the proof?
Here is CJ Sabas, our VP for Nonacademics together with his girls… I mean with the talented
girls of second year BSA to give us an astounding performance. Let’s give them a big hand!
*Dance dance*
France: Thank you CJ and company. You’ve just seen a very remarkable performance. Let’s
give them a round of applause please.
Rose: Yes, that was awesome. Kung yung mga accountancy students may talent, I guess pati
rin yung mga SBA instructors diba?
France: You’re right partner. I think so too haha.
Rose: Kidding aside, every school department has a major organization which caters the
need of their members. In SBA, we have the Junior Philippine Institute of Accountants-
Local Chapter. To enlighten everyone, may we call on Ms. Regine Racca to introduce the
organization and its officers.
*Intro-JPIA*
France: Thank you so much Ma’am Racca and JPIA-Local Chapter officers.

France: So, we’ve came to know JPIA and the people composing the organization. Now, it’s
about time to learn and understand more about it- what is JPIA all about, what are its
functions, how does it cater the SBA students, what are to be expected from this org and the
likes.
So without much further ado, may we call on stage, Wilmarie Jem Camacho, our
JPIA-Local Chapter President to give us an interesting talk about JPIA. Let’s give her a warm
round of applause.

not just stay inside the four corners of the classroom. You have a lot in you, guys so make
the most out of your college life.
Rose: So to formally wrap up today’s event, may we have on stage, Sir Aldrin Calimlim, CPA
to give us his closing remarks.
Rose: Thank you, Sir Aldrin.

Rose: But wait there’s more. Tapos na yung program however, we still have one last
activity which is election ng representatives for both 2nd year and 1st year levels. So let’s
move on.
