Miller Gold PTO Fundraiser

The NEMS PTO is excited to launch its annual Miller Gold fundraiser! This is the PTO's one and
only fundraiser of the year and supports so many events and activities for our students and staff!
This year, the fundraiser is going digital. Donating is easy, and no amount is too small!

Families are encouraged to share the link with family and friends. We also invite you and your
child to share their team and homeroom teacher (period 1 for 6th and 7th graders, period 3 for
8th graders) so that individuals may donate on behalf of your child's team and teacher. Teams
and homerooms will be competing to see who can promote the most support!

Please see this flyer for details, and THANK YOU for supporting our school!
Save the Date!
Let’s be real. As parents, we are all looking for stress relief, tech-free time, connections with our kids, and ways to
better live in the moment. As part of our new Parent Power learning series, the upcoming Social Emotional Fair is an
opportunity for all families to pick up tips, techniques and take-home strategies for dealing with life. Sept 24 5:30-
7PM at Noblesville High School.

As part of our efforts to enhance social emotional services we will be administering a

social emotional climate survey to students in grades 3-12 during the first two weeks of October.

The survey seeks to get student input on topics like school climate and culture, student/teacher
relationships, belonging, emotion regulation, social awareness and self-management.

When students feel connected to their school environment, they are more engaged and increasingly
successful in both academic and social achievements.

The survey results will be confidential and will provide our counseling team with valuable insights for
future planning and programming in support of strong relationships with students, social and emotional
education, and academic and career needs.

If you have any questions regarding the survey, please contact our district counseling coordinator Dana
Nelson at (317) 773- 3171 or dana_nelson@nobl.k12.in.us

Thank you for your support of this important opportunity to best serve students and our school
community.

Noblesville Youth Assistance Program is looking for volunteers who want to invest their time to
help local students have a better tomorrow. One hour a week can have a big impact on a student's
future! http://youthassistance.org/become-a-volunteer

Make a donation of clothing items to Goodwill in the month of October and let them know that you
want your donation to be credited to Noblesville Schools. For every 13-gallon bag of items donated,
Noblesville Schools will receive a store voucher that will be shared with those in need.

do not have a valid ID you will not be permitted to enter NEMS.
3. Push the call button and wait for “Good morning/afternoon, may I help you?”
4. Explain to the receptionist your reason for needing entry into the building.
5. You will be required to hold your ID up to the video phone upon request.
6. After showing your ID you will be asked to enter the vestibule and proceed to the
main office. Please keep your ID available.

Important notes:
