Vessel was steaming on a course of 020O (T), Speed 20 knots. At 0900 Lt, vessel observes the bearing
of little basses reef Lt. Ho to be 290O (T). From this position, find course to steer and ETA in order to
arrive in a position Sangamakanda Lt. Ho Brg 290 (T) x 12’ miles in order to carry out STS operation.
Having ascertained at 0900 LT, that current setting 315O (T) x 2.5 Knots.

Colombo Lt Ho bore 061O (T) at 1800 LT. From this position a course of 200O(T) was steered, if current
was known to set at 275O (T) x 2.5 knots. Find the estimated position of the Vessel at 2000 Lt, SMG,
CMG (Given ship’s speed 14 knots).
