    Please refer to this office notice under section 177(1) read with section 214D of the Income Tax Ordinance,
    2001.

    On the due date neither anybody attended the office nor any application for adjournment was received.
    Examination of Income Tax Return and Information available with this office reveals various discrepancies
    which was covered under section 122(5)(i)(ii) & (iii) of the Income Tax Ordinance, 2001. The same is
    discussed as under: -

    This office has received definite information from Allied Bank of Pakistan and Meezan Bank
    Bani Gala Branch wherein you have maintained following three bank accounts:-

    Examination Income Tax Return reveals that you have declared gross revenue of Rs.545,000/- for the Tax
    Year 2017. Thus difference between the declared Income and bank credits comes to Rs.50,702,310/-. Prime
    facie you have suppressed receipts which is tantamount is concealment of Income. Therefore, you are
    requested to explain the reasons as to why the amount of suppressed receipts may not be added in your
    taxable Income under section 111(1)(b) of the Income Tax Ordinance, 2001.

    Your reply should reach this office on or before the due date. In case of non-compliance or un-satisfactory
    reply, proceedings under section 122(9) read with section 122(5) of the Income Tax Ordinance, 2001 will be
    finalized accordingly.
