Switch 1

Emergency engine shutdown switch

Function
This emergency engine shutdown switch is used to Rear left side of machine (2)
stop the engine in an emergency.
It is also used to prevent the engine from being
started by mistake during inspection and mainte-
nance of the machine.
(For details of the using method, see "Operation
and Maintenance Manual".)
q The emergency engine shutdown switch is
installed to 3 places; Inside of the cab and rear
right and left sides of the machine.
q When this switch is pressed, the engine stops.
q The engine cannot be started while this switch
is pressed in.
q To return this switch to the OFF state after it is
pressed in, turn its knob clockwise.
q When restarting the engine, return the emer-
gency engine shutdown switch to the OFF
state.
q Switches (2) and (3) installed to the rear of the
machine operate same as switch (1). Rear right side of machine (3)
