    RESOLUTION No. 03-2019


    “RESOLUTION PROPOSING AN ON SITE GEO-TAGGING IN THE AREA OF SURVEY TO
    FORM PART OF THE SURVEY RETURNS DUE FOR SUBMISSION, VERIFICATION AND
    APPROVAL SUBJECT HOWEVER FOR THE APPROVAL/DENIAL AND/OR FURTHER
    RECTIFICATION OF THE GENERAL MEMBERSHIP OF THE REGIONAL DIVISION.

    WHEREAS, it is a well-known fact that some Geodetic Engineer Private Practitioners are indulge in signing
    Survey Plans/Returns, not of their own making but rather executed by Quack Surveyors;
    WHEREAS, the very existence of this malpractice, if not given proper and due attention, the tendency is an
    outright downgrading the image and reputation of the Profession per se, not to mention the
    damages inflicted to the Association’s reputation as an Association of corrupt Geodetic Engineer
    Professionals;
    WHEREFORE, on motion of Dir. Jesus P. Basilio duly seconded by Dir. Erenie V. Abucay moved for the
    above-mentioned resolution proposing an onsite Geo-tagging in the area of survey to form part of
    the Survey Returns due for submission, verification and approval;
    BE IT RESOLVED, as it is hereby resolved the above-mentioned resolution proposing the adaptation of the
    same, subject however for the approval/disapproval and/or further rectification of the Regional
    Membership of the Regional Division, when presented in its forthcoming Annual Regional
    Convention Assembly comes February 7-8, 2020;
    RESOLVED FURTHER, that this resolution be kept on file, ready for presentation to the Regional
    Membership, comes February 7-8, 2020 Annual Regional Convention Assembly of GEPI, R02
    Division, copy furnish all Provincial Chapters for their advance information, guidance and study;
    ADOPTED BY: all majority votes of Board of Directors present.
