My Activities

After my orientation session, with the administrator(s), cooperating principal, practicum

supervisor, together with my co-practicum students, I need to equip myself with my the PT
Kit(Practice Teaching Kit) to better prepare myself in this wonderful world of teaching.

What tools do I need to bring in terms of K.A.S.H?

Write your answers in bulleted form.

KNOWLEDGE Knowledge is very important when

you teach. As, a future teacher I need
to be prepared all the time. I must be
knowledgeable in giving the
information on my students because
it will be in their mind for the rest of
their life.

ATTITUDE I must have the patience especially

dealing with hard-headed students. And I
must be a role model to my students.

SKILLS It is my duty to enhance and develop the

skills of my students in order for them to
be competitive. I must prepare activities
that will develop them and be a better
individual.

HABITS Those bad habits that I have must not be

brought in and out of the room. As much
as I can I will change my bad habits and
develop my good habits. For instance, I
must be punctual always. I must be the
role model of my students.

4
My Analysis

Complete the structured frame.

1. Orientation sessions are conducted because it is very important that we

know what to do in the first place and what should we make. It is
conducted for us to follow the right rules and regulations being
implemented by the cooperating schools.

2. I feel very excited as to before I attend my first class. I’m excited to meet
students who have hungry minds and are willing to learn more.

3. I know I can handle my students and I can teach them well through my
eagerness to share what I have and to learn also from them. Since
learning is a lifetime process. I am willing to render my service to the
hungry minds of my students to be.

My Reflection/My Insights

Am I really prepared to teach?

“Teaching” is not an easy task. Once you commit

mistake and you taught your student the wrong one, it would be a

great disaster. The child would enter the room with learning and goes

out with learning. If a teacher would not be an effective one, the child

will go out the room with a question mark.

As I entered the cooperating school I was

assigned, the question pops up my mind, “Am I really prepared to

teach?” I am still learning for what and how to teach my field. It

would be a very challenging task, and it is my responsibility to find

better strategies on how to impart and inculcate what I know to my

future students.
