Let’s get connected

There are two ways you can connect to the VPN.

A) SSL Application Gateway (a.k.a. Web VPN) – Allows you to connect to Virtusa
application suite using any web browser
B) Pulse Secure VPN client – Only applicable for a Virtusa -issued computer.

Connect Using SSL Application Gateway

The SSL application gateway allows you to connect to Virtusa application suite using any
web browser, including IE, Firefox, Safari, and Chrome. Also, it can be accessed on any type
of end point, including mobile devices such as iPhones, iPads, and Android devices. This
method is useful if you only have Internet access due to firewall restriction or if you are
working on a client-provided computer.

a. Go to the VPN Application Gateway at https://vpn.virtusa.com/ using your browser.

b. Once on the home page, Select SSL Web Access as realm and enter your username and
password. Your username is your Windows username, which is what you use to log in to your
computer. Your VPN password is a combination of your four-digit access PIN number and the
onetime six- digit number displayed on your VASCO soft token.

Example: If your PIN is “1234” and the six-digit number displayed on the token is
“567890,” then your password is “1234567890.” Refer to the VASCO token
installation guide if you have not already configured the VASCO token.
c. Click “Sign On” to complete the connection. Once connected, if you selected the
SSL web access profile, you can click on the any of the links to the applications on
the home page to access them.

Note: When using SSL Web Access each site may ask you to enter your Windows
username and password for authentication.
Connect using Pulse Secure client from Virtusa Managed Computer.

connection, type a name for your connection, provide vpn.virtusa.com as the
server URL, then click “Add” to add the connection entry.

b. Once the connection is added to the Pulse Secure client, click “Connect” to establish a VPN
connection. When you connect for the first time, it will ask to select a realm. Select “SSL VPN
Access,” then click the “Save Settings” option. Click “Connect” to proceed.
c. When prompted, enter your username and password. Your username is your Windows
username, which is what you use to log in to your computer. Your VPN password is a
combination of your four-digit VPN access PIN and the onetime six-digit number displayed on
your VASCO soft token.

Example: If your PIN is “1234” and the six-digit number displayed on the token is“388272,” then your
password is “1234388272.” Refer to the Register your account for VPN use if you have not already
