    The CECT scan of a 65-year-old female's chest showed extensive nodules in both lungs ranging from 4mm to 10mm in size, suggestive of possible metastasis. Mild pleural effusion was seen on the right side. Other organs appeared normal. The impression was of extensive bilateral lung nodules possibly due to metastasis and mild right-sided pleural effusion.

    CECT STUDY OF CHEST

     Extensive nodular parenchymal opacities of various sizes are seen in


    both lungs measuring 4mm to 10mm.

     Mild pleural effusion is seen on right side .No pleural effusion or


    pleural thickening is seen on left side

     No mediastinal lymphadenopathy is seen.

     Trachea is central.

     Heart size is normal.

     Esophagus is seen normally.

     Soft tissues are seen normally.

    IMPRESSION:

     EXTENSIVE BILATERAL LUNG NODULES….? METASTASIS.


     MILD PLEURAL EFFUSION RIGHT .

    Clinical correlation is necessary.
