The objectives of Intramurals are to provide opportunities for individual development through various activities,
increase social contacts, growth of lasting friendships and recreation for individuals, regardless of their skill ability.
Hugyaw is a Cebuano word meaning “for a crowd to roar in laughter, excitement, and the like.”

JUDGING CRITERIA
The judges will score the crews according to the judging criteria on a 100 point system.
1. OVERALL EFFECT (20 pts)
Confidence/Showmanship, Intensity, and Projection (5%)
Entertainment Value/Crowd Appeal (5%)
Costume (10%)
TECHNIQUE (30pts)
Execution/Clarity of Movement (15%)
Placement and Control (10%)
Musicality (5%)
Group Execution (10 pts)
Synchronization/Timing (10%)
Spacing (5%)

DISCREPANCIES IN THE RULES AND/OR COMPETITION
Any problem or discrepancy during a competition will be brought to the attention of the competition organizer who
will address it with the Head Judge, and/or event committee, and the respective decision(s) made will be final.
