GENERATOR INTERCONNECTION DATA FORM

Version: GIDF-FeS-1003 Transmission

Service Voltages 60 kV to 500 kV

Section 1: Application for a Feasibility Study

1. The purpose of this document is to provide BC Hydro the basic information required to initiate a Feasibility Study. Please provide all
information requested.

2. Please submit this application (and attached documents) electronically to [email protected].

3. All required payments under the Open Access Transmission Tariff (OATT) must be submitted to BC Hydro before a Feasibility Study will be
initiated. Cheques must only be mailed to Transmission Generator Interconnections / BC Hydro / Edmonds B03, 6911 Southpoint Drive /
Burnaby, BC, V3N 4X8.

4. Interconnection Customers should refer to BC Hydro’s 60kV to 500 kV Technical Interconnection Requirements for Power Generators, July
2010. An interconnection application should not conflict with the requirements stated in this document. Please note that interconnection
requirements for wind generating facilities are now an integral part (Appendix A) of this document.

5. Please refer to the Western Electricity Coordinating Council’s WECC Wind Power Plant Power Flow Modeling Guide to develop the equivalent
wind turbine generator and its respective feeder representations for power flow studies. This document is located on the Western Electricity
Coordinating Council (WECC) website, www.wecc.biz.

Section 2: How to Fill Out the Application

1. Please provide information in all shaded fields in each Section, if applicable. Additional information for non-shaded fields is helpful, but not
required.

2. Macros must be enabled to run the data Validation process prior to application submittal. If macros were not enabled, please close this file,
reopen the file and click the "Enable Macros" button when prompted.

3. In Sections 4 - 9, provide information in all shaded fields for each piece of equipment that will be utilized, up to the number provided. Leave
all other fields empty.

For example, if three (3) Generating units will be used, please fill in all shaded fields under the columns unit 1, 2 and 3 for each unit, respectively. Leave
all other fields in the other columns empty.

In the above example, if any data is provided in a shaded field (but not all shaded fields) under the Unit 4 column, BC Hydro will interpret the data as an
application for four (4) Units and will consider the information for Unit 4 as incomplete, making the entire application incomplete.

4. DO NOT COPY cells from one row to another row. ONLY copy cells from column to column in the same row.

5. DO NOT INSERT any files to the data form. Please type in the name of the file in the "Attach file" fields and provide the actual file separately.

6. After completing the application, please validate the data in each Section by clicking the "Check data" buttons on the Validate worksheet. A
complete application will show the Status as "Complete" for each applicable Section and/or piece of equipment. An "<Empty>" status indicates
the column contains no data.

This document is provided to interconnection customers under the Open Access Transmission Tariff.

Please include additional information if it is available. Drawing Information

Section 11 - Drawing Information: Please provide the following drawings digitally in Portable Document Format (PDF). Note: Electric symbols and format
shall be in accordance with North American (ANSI/IEEE) drawing practices.

11.01.1 A-C SINGLE LINE (ONE-LINE) DIAGRAM:

Drawing Number:

This diagram must clearly show all major station equipment such as generators, transformers, circuit breakers, disconnect switches, capacitors, reactors, surge arresters, motor loads,
static loads (MW with power factor), current transformers (CT's), voltage transformers (VT's), capacitive voltage transformers (CVT's). Their ratings should be clearly identified on the
diagram.

For a wind farm the one line diagram should show the transmission lines, connection to the BCH system, collector station equipment, and the equivalent of each feeder with the number of
Wind Turbine Generators (WTG) identified. Refer to the WECC Wind Power Plant Power Flow Modeling Guide to develop the feeder equivalent as suggested in the Instructions Section of this
form.

11.01.2
Motor detail is not required for Feasibility Study.

Note [1]: Based on the interpretation of the IEEE standards Example: Motor Load Table.
C37.010-1979 and C37.5-1979, the motor groupings are as follows: Type Induction Induction Induction Synchronous
Group 1 - Induction motors smaller than 50 hp - neglect Group 2 3 4 5
Group 2 - Induction motors 50 hp and above H.P. 125 * 1500 * 1000 5000
Group 3 - Induction motors 250 hp and above at 3600 rpm kV rated 575V 2400V 4160V 13800
Group 4 - Induction motors 1000 hp and above at 1800 rpm or less X'd (pu) ** -- -- -- 0.15
Group 5 - All synchronous motors X"d (pu) ** 0.17 0.17 0.17 0.09

Drawing Number:

This document is an extension of the A-C Single Line Diagram. It should show all the protective relaying, metering, major control and telecommunications interface to tie in the generator,
transformer and plant protection with the transmission line protection schemes. This document should also provide the CT & VT ratios and accuracy classes.

11.03. PROJECT OVERALL ELECTRICAL SINGLE LINE DIAGRAM:

Drawing Number:

The diagram should show all generators, transformers, circuit breakers, transmission connections and associated electrical parameters and data not showing elsewhere in the data sheets. If a
HVDC system is involved in the interconnection, the diagram should include the DC system and associated electrical parameters and data for power flow studies.

Drawing Number:

This document should include topographical details and proximity to the BCH system. It should also include the longitude and latitude of the customer's generation facility and the
approximate longitude and latitude of the proposed point of interconnection (POI) into a BCH transmission line that is also shown on the diagram. The length of the interconnecting customer's
new transmission line should correspond to the data item 9.01 Line Length.

For the wind farms, the topology diagram should be provided as well, which clearly shows the geographic locations of generators, feeders, collector stations and switching stations if
applicable.
