Requisition Instructions

The Streamlined Requisitioning Process (SRP) is a procedure whereby certain

equipment can be ordered from suppliers who have been identified and have agreed to
supply equipment under the defined SRP and in accordance with the supplier-specific
Streamlined Requisitioning Process Manuals (SRPMs). This procedure is outlined in
Praxair Standard PO-205.

As of the date this SRPM volume was issued, it contained the Table of Contents
for each of the Cameron Product Lines (PLs). The Table of Contents should be
considered a “reference only” for the Product Line documents. To ensure that the most
recent revisions are being used on a project, before requisitioning a Product Line
compressor per the SRPM scope of supply, the requisitioning engineer should contact:
Paul Harris at (716) 879-4709 [for T-plants and N-plants]
or
Ancy Alexander at (716) 879-2382 [for N-Plants].

Specification: In most cases, a generic Engineering Specification (ES) for

Cameron Turbocompressor’s PL-x has been pre-completed as far as possible. It shall
not be used to purchase equipment for a project without a project-specific ES number
and modification of parameters to reflect project-specific requirements.

Pricing: The pricing for the Product Line is based on the scope of supply stated in
the generic ES. Changing or adding to the scope of supply may result in an increase in
price and an additional engineering fee from Cameron.

Technical Scope: Technical scope for the Product Line machines purchased under
this agreement shall be as defined by the ES listed on the Table of Contents. The
particular ambient conditions, flow and pressure requirements, and aero design
selected for that particular project shall be indicated in the project-specific specification.

Motors: (a) Praxair will supply the motors for the T-Plant type compressors. Refer
to the– Motor Requirements Section of this volume for a copy of a generic compressor
motor specification, WR2 value, and speed/torque curve.
(b) Praxair will supply the motors for the N-Plant type compressors. Call
one of the individuals listed above to get a copy of a pre-completed motor specification
and speed/torque curve for the appropriate WR2 value.
