Class today we are going to learn about using words to identify and describe name
of a person, places, things, animals, and events.

Children let us read the following sentences.

3. My pet dog is white.
4. Ana is angry.
5. There are many beautiful beaches in Boracay.

What word describe dog? Is dog a name of a person, place, thing, animal or
event?
What word describe Ana? Is Ana a name of a person, place, thing, animal or
event?
What word describe the beaches in Boracay? Is beaches in Boracay a name of a
person, place, thing, animal or event?
All the underlined words are what we called adjectives. Adjectives is a word that
describe a name of a person, places, things, animals and events.
