AIRCRETE MIX TIPS

1. The foam needs to be as thick/dense as possible, like shaving cream. If it's airy like that
then the cells are too big and not nearly dense enough to hold your cement together. You
can try Dawn or 7th Generation soap from any store, or order Drexel Foaming Agent if
you're close to a Rural King.
2. The proper cement to water ratio is crucial - most are finding that 6 gallons of water per
92lb bag of cement is about right. That comes out to about 8.1 oz of water per pound of
cement.
3. Have the foam gun primed and ready BEFORE you mix the cement slurry. You'll want to
add the foam in to the slurry immediately.
4. Your initial goal should probably be to double the volume of your cement. That means in a
5 gal bucket, fill it about 1/3 full of cement slurry, then double it with (high quality) foam.
