IATA EasyPay Launch in Serbia For Agents
Dear Agent,
We are pleased to announce that on 15 July 2019, IATA EasyPay (IEP), a new e-wallet solution will
become available in BSP Serbia. From this date, any Agent will be able to use this new payment
method with IATA EasyPay accepting carriers.
IATA EasyPay is a secure, pay-as-you-go solution based on an electronic wallet. Agents will be able
to use IATA EasyPay for payment of tickets through the BSP.
The launch of IATA EasyPay is an important element for the roll-out of NewGen ISS and pre-condition
for the implementation of Resolution 812 in BSP Serbia on 16 July 2019.
Please read below for further details on IATA EasyPay including forthcoming changes to the BSP
Billing Reports.
Should you require any further information, please do not hesitate to contact us via the Customer
Portal.
Sincerely,
IATA EasyPay (IEP) is a new e-wallet solution for payment of tickets through the BSP. Introduced as
part of the NewGen ISS program, IATA EasyPay is an optional and secure alternative to the traditional
BSP Cash (CA) and Customer Card (CC) payment methods.
IATA EasyPay is being introduced to provide travel agents with increased flexibility in the BSP. IATA
EasyPay offers Agents the following benefits:
Important: IATA EasyPay is available to all Agents and Airlines. However, Agents must ensure that the
issuing Airline is ready to accept IATA EasyPay prior to ticket issuance. A list of carriers that are
ready to accept IATA EasyPay will be shared with all Agents via BSPlink at the time of go-live.
IATA EasyPay is a distinct form of payment, based on an electronic wallet. Agents set up and fund
their own dedicated IATA EasyPay wallet. At the time of ticket issuance, if funds are available, the
amount owing is secured in the Agent’s IATA EasyPay wallet. (If insufficient funds are available, then
the ticket cannot be issued using IATA EasyPay). This amount is then settled to the airlines via the
BSP.
1. IEP Account Opening – To start using IATA EasyPay, an Agent must first open their IEP
account (e-wallet) via the IEP Portal. This is integrated directly with the IATA Customer Portal:
www.iata.org/cs
2. IEP Account Funding – Once the Agent’s IATA EasyPay account is open, the Agent can fund
their dedicated e-wallet as they choose. Any funds in the e-wallet belong to the Agent until
blocked against a ticket.
3. IEP Number Generation – Through the IEP Portal, the Agent can request an IEP number. The
IEP number is entered in the GDS at the time of ticket issuance.
4. Ticket Issuance – The Agent enters the IEP number at the time of ticket issuance in the GDS.
A payment authorization is requested. If there are sufficient funds in the e-wallet, the amount
is blocked and the ticket issued using IATA Easypay.
5. Settlement – The amounts owing for the IATA EasyPay transaction are received and settled
to the respective Airline via the BSP.
6. Reporting – All transactions issued using IATA EasyPay are reported to Airlines and Agents
on the BSP billing reports, as per usual.
More information on IATA EasyPay, including an Agent Readiness Guide is available at:

In order to introduce this new payment solution and to ensure that IATA EasyPay transactions can
be identified once available to the market, please note that IATA will be making slight adjustments to
the BSP Billing Reports, as outlined below.
When IATA EasyPay is launched in BSP Serbia, the BSP Billing Reports will reflect the following
changes.
• In future, any transactions issued by Agents using IATA EasyPay, whether sales or
refunds, will show on the Agent Billing Details Report with “EP” in the FOP (Form of
Payment) column as shown in Red below.
2. Agent Billing Summary – FCAGBILLSUMNG
• With the implementation of an additional form of payment, totals on the Agent Billing
Summary report will be summarized vertically, with a dedicated line for IATA EasyPay
